Like Yossy said they aren't putting any new categories together. The board looks solid as it is. Nemesis% doesn't work in this game. In OG RE3 the fights added something, pick ups to make a new gun that you use in the run. Nemmy doesn't drop anything in RE3 except gun parts for the HG that isn't used anyways.

You're more then welcome to do a Nemesis% run, upload it to youtube and it would be the WR. But putting it on the boards wouldn't make sense.

It doesn't specify in the rules. It doesn't say NG+ is banned, but doesn't say it's allowed either. I understand this board was created recently so it's probably still being worked on, but I was just curious.

Just a quick question. Are these categories done with infinite ammo turned on, like in NG+? Or must they be done with only the ammo available in the from drops?

I just checked and it shows up for me. I would try closing your browser and trying again.

I have this same issue, and hopefully someone else can explain it. I created a split for entering lisa's hut since it splits there and I'm not sure why. I also have issues where it doesn't split after the Lisa fight and Tyrant in the lab fight.

I might not be a moderator now but I can still chime in because I was around for this. We couldn't find any definitive proof that cheating was taking place. Three or four of us looked at the videos and we couldn't say for sure that cheating took place. @Dyldor stop trying to start something by saying "mods refused to do anything" we did something. Just because nothing changed didn't mean we just ignored the situation.

A no apartment category isn't going to happen. The apartment to streets is only a few minutes. I don't like that people compare it to no guest house, because guest house is like 15 minutes instead of 5. Resets are part of speedrunning.

I've been wanting to learn this run and I've been slowly doing so. I had a question about the xbox version though. Is it comparable to the PS3 version?

And if it is not, are PS3 Emulator runs allowed on the board?

So I can't get my overlay to work. I have down patched and I replaced the .dll and renamed it, still nothing. Any idea whats wrong?

EDIT: nvm I'm just kinda dumb. My DX version got changed to 12 somehow and now it's fixed. I forgot to check that before asking lol.

Alright everyone, HG only has been added. It's under the Misc tab.

Alright, so here is the news on HG only. We are going to be making it a category and it will be added to the board. We are only going to be adding Assisted and Standard for now. Hardcore and above are going to be held off on till there is an interest in them. We believe that Assisted/Standard will be the main categories for HG only. I will revisit the use of the MUP on Hardcore when/if it is added to the category.

I will follow up with a post and probably an announcement in the Discord when the category is live.

Unless and overwhelming majority of people want the MUP on hardcore, I'm not going to pitch that idea to the other mods. I don't believe it needs to be in that category.

What knifefun said. I set up rules that avoid using NG+ when possible. It sucks that its even needed, but the more difficult runs are not possible without help.

Unlimited ammo isn't necessary on assisted/Standard, and Hardcore doesn't seem to need it with the samurai edge. The rules don't need to be static, its about being able to finish the run at this point. RE3R wasn't meant for handgun only, RE2R wasn't either, but at least it was doable with the base guns.

I haven't tried it yet, but I guess you can just dodge and shoot the generators till the hunters show up, then just clean up when the last one is dead. That might be what you have to do on hardcore.

That's the step after getting it on the board haha, routing. I'm going to bring this up to the other mods now. Still feel free to give input on the rules I wrote out if anything doesn't seem right.
