You might be asking why most people suddenly switched over to Community Edition instead of Remake. Alongside other additions it brings, it is mainly because it's more compatible with newer machines and there are no random jump heights, notorious for ruining many runs. And due to the fact that the creator of MFR is unsure if the game is ever going to get an update now (the last update was in 2021) as it definitely needs one, Mario Forever as the game is now in hands of other people, including me.
