Hello guys, I have this issue that I cannot start my livesplit when I am currently playing Guitar Hero 3 on PC. Any way to solve this issue? I really need urgent help because I want to speedrun this game. I've seen people able to start their livesplit when playing GH3 but I don't know how.

I have also seen a runner named CrispyHanako that he skips these songs in each stages so that the run will be much faster.

Hello everyone, my name is IvanderLatidjan and I am going to give you a speedrun guide for Guitar Hero III Any% Career (Easy/Medium) difficulty. So in Easy or Medium difficulty, you only need to finish 3 out of 4 songs to proceed therefore I will list down the songs in each stages that you can skip due to their length being the longest.

I have checked the Guitar Hero 3 song length in each stages and have seen which are the longest and therefore the songs to skips are:

1. Starting Out Small

• Slow Ride 4:10
• Talk Dirty to me 3:46
• Hit me with your best shot 2:54
• Story of my life 5:51

You would want to skip Story of My Life because it is the longest out of the 4 songs.

2. Your First Real Gig

• Mississippi Queen 2:33
• School's Out 3:25
• Sunshine of your love 4:25
• Barracuda 4:26

Skip Barracuda because its the longest in this stage.

3. Making the Video

• When you were young 3:41
• Miss Murder 3:28
• The Seeker 3:33
• Lay Down 3:07

Skip When You Were Young because its the longest in this stage.

4. European Invasion

• Paranoid 2:50
• Anarchy in the UK 3:40
• Kool Thing 4:09
• My name is Jonas 3:31

Skip Kool Thing because its the longest in this stage.

5. Big House Blues

• Holiday in Cambodia 4:43
• Rock you like a hurricane 4:16

Skip Holiday in Cambodia because this song is longest in this stage

6. Hottest Band on Earth

7. Live in Japan

Hello everyone, I am IvanderLatidjan and I am about to speedrun Guitar Hero 2 or II and I figure out that if you play on Easy/Medium category especially on Easy Mode, you get a chance to only play 3 songs on some stages instead of 4 therefore I wanted to point out which songs are much faster to complete so you will be able to choose it. (I would put this in the Guides section but I can't because I am not a moderator.)

In Easy Mode, you only need to finish 3 of the 4 songs provided in each stage except stage 7. Therefore, I didn't put the song length for number 7th because you have to play all songs. After you finished stage 7, you win the game therefore there is no Stage 8 on Easy Mode.

1. Opening Licks

• Shout at the Devil 3:27
• Mother 3:31
• Surrender 4:20
• Woman 2:46

You would want to skip Surrender song when running Easy Mode.

2. Amp Warmers

• Strutter 3:17
• Heart-Shaped Box 5:04
• Message in a Bottle 5:04
• You Really Got Me 2:38

You would want to pick either Heart-Shaped Box or Message in a Bottle since their song length is the same.

3. String-Snappers

• Monkey wrench 3:54
• Them bones 2:42
• Search and Destroy 3:40
• Tattooed Love Boys 3:01

You would want to skip Monkey Wrench since it is the longest in Stage 3 on Easy Mode.

4. Thrash and Burn

• Can't you hear me knocking 4:27

You would want to skip "Can't You hear me Knocking" since it is the longest one.

5. Return of the Shred

• Killing in the Name 5:16

You would want to skip "Killing in the Name" since it is the longest one.

6. Relentless Riffs

• Trippin on a Hole in a Paper Heart 3:20

You would want to skip Jessica since it is the longest one.

7. Furious Fretwork
