Can you tell me about differences between the original W3D and the Ultimate one, if there's any.

How easy it is to remove the cutscene? I mean is it possible to do for every level, and by anyone? (I recall the scripts are cmopressed .lub files)

and third question: does the cutscene length count in the game time, i.e. is RTA equal to game time for W3

Nice for the shortcut in Hangar C. I used to jump in the pit everytime. Live Ordnance looks great too, but I guess one should always quicksave right before attempting the jump

There's indeed another person interested in a glitchless category (Lopiz38), but as you see there's still a nuance with "no sequence breaks" as you would allow some glitches... Actually I think everyone will be content with a "no sequence break", i can create that.

you don't need the stool to do this

I mean, it's exacly the same time (22sec) to get there, so I don't think it's worth getting the stool to do this

It is surely allowed, despite not having a leaderboard yet. It would be in a different category since I guess there's no QS/QL on console. What is you run ?

Maybe we could move the segmented runs to some archives, like the "guides" menu. Since it's not really competitive.

Also I don't see anyone running the dwarf, so I don't believe we should create 4 split tabs for the characters. It's better to leave as it is the current system of a mere variable labelling the run.

So that's just 2 categories for the main game: 1 - Any% bad ending 2 - Any% No Physics Glitch good ending

then for the ILs we just need to solve the variable/category conflicts, and define proper rules. Nothing gets in the way of farming XP and getting super weapons in the previous levels

This is funny. You can use a stool on Ephyra to reach the cemetery early, but I guess you also have to pickup the poleaxe before, and it's just nearby a stool. So not really useful unless we take the poleaxe elsewhere

Yeah that's great ! so Tel Halaf is completely skipped and it's also good to get rid of the perilous long jump in Karum. I did not even see you could enter the castle this way when I tried to route this level...

Concerning the stool+porticulis trick, I know it works for some grates in Shalatuwar and Marakamda, I wonder if it can be used elsewhere.

Hello. I'll look forward to seeing your videos, it sounds interesting. Most runners wanted to give the game a proper showcase, so the ran the good ending to see the true final boss. Although there's also a run by Radge where he goes for bad ending because it's faster. The way the leaderboard works you just have to write wether you did lv13 or lv14

quick guide: with a right click on the display, you will have access to all options you need to setup splits, that are just the names of the levels you need to setup the layout, that means the chrono, the titles, what data you want to show and also choose keys for controling the chrono, which don't interfere with the game controls I don't think there's an autosplitter yet for this game, so you'll have to split manually

Also there might be a problem to get it on screen while recording, either you should give it a specific color then make it transparent in OBS, or you should play in windowed mode and have both windows on display

... I said OBS but I noticed you use bandicam... I would strongly advise using OBS, which is easy to use and will do all you want for free without trouble. https://obsproject.com/download

Don't you wanna run in glitched mode then, with angle tilting and airclimbing and teleportation too?

well I've never seen these glitches before so I can't really tell. The combat glitches can go in the no physics glitch category without bothering anyone I think. It's ok.

As for the tab-landing it depends on how much it breaks the game. I'd like to have opinions from other runners, but I doubt they would answer anytime soon. What are the skips using tab-landing? where would you use it in a run?

(EDIT: default key is "tab" or "numpad0" but it corresponds to "target enemy")

Hi! No Physics Glitch is meant to ban the most gamebreaking glitches, that are airclimbing, zipping up, teleportation, tilting the character to walk on walls etc...

I don't exactly understand what are the 3 things you worry about: "Reduce combo with jump" I think you talk about animation cancelation during combat? I guess it's allowed

"Flying from the edge with the power of run and block" This is airclimbing and it is banned in this category.

"Deadly landing using TAB" I dont see what you mean here

Yes that's what I fear. It was originally kept on RTA because sistraer's run is RTA. I guess I could edit the run to write the proper RTA/IGT values so there's no problem

EDIT: btw I don't understand why your run doesn't appear on the front page, there must be a problem with the filters and I don't know how to fix that... If I set the default timing method back to RTA then your run shows (:/?) well I'll keep it like that, for the moment, I don't think it causes major problems with the ILs (tell me if I'm wrong) Maybe I really have to edit your run and sistraer's to show IGT, but that's a bit of work and I don't have time to watch all of this right now...
