I just found a typo in the name of the IL "Ahch-To : Trailglazers". It seems that Ahch-To was accidentally written as "Acho-To".
This is in the first sentence. It should be "crossing the finish line", not "while". I know somebody will probably reply with a nerd emoji or something but I have to point this out.
You can use this thread to suggest full-game or IL categories or ask to become mod or verifier - any help is appreciated ! I'm looking forward to making the leaderboard better for everyone, so please feel free to leave your category ideas or help with verifying runs !
In November 2023, jmtb02 (the creator of the game) released the Elephant Collection on Steam, featuring many of his old flash games from the late 2000s and early 2010s.
Would performing (level) runs on this version of the game be allowed (maybe with a different variable) ? As far as I know, there are no major differences between the 2 versions.
The reason why I'm asking this is to know whether or not I can submit a run that I did on the Elephant Collection version of the game a few months ago.
Hello, Hollow Knight has been one of my favourite games since I started playing it in 2022, and I wanted to speedrun it for quite a long time, however most of the NMG categories rely on skips that I'm not really interested in learning and I wanted to try NMMS categories, however I have no idea where to start, what glitches are used and how to perform them, etc. Could somebody please guide me on where to find resources or tutorials to start out ?
Hello, I wanted to ask : why does the Lego Harry Potter speedrunning Discord server require people to verify their phone number before being able to participate ? I'm not necessarily asking for this to change btw, although I generally prefer to not give my phone number online when I can avoid it - I am just asking a genuine question, as this level of security doesn't seem that necessary to me for such a small community.
Hello, I am a moderator for the game Countryball: Europe 1890, and I recently thought of adding a LRT timer to make the competition more fair between runners. However, I quickly realised that retiming every run would take too much time, so I decided to remove it, but it had already automatically changed all the run timing methods from RTA to LRT (the RTA time was blank and the LRT time was the former RTA time). So I manually changed everything back to RTA, put RTA as the default timing method and tried to disable LRT, but doing so makes all the runs invisible. They still exist, but they are considered as not using the default timing method (even though they all use RTA and the only timing method is RTA on the leaderboards). Is this normal ? And is there anything to fix it ? Thanks by advance for your answer.
Hello, a few months ago I did a few co-op runs for this game with @RatchetClank863, however he didn't have an account back then, so the runs currently show him as an unregistered user. Could you please change these runs so that they use his current account instead ? I would do it myself, but I don't want to make anyone re-verify the runs for such a small change. Here is a list of all the runs to change :
Thank you by advance for your help.

Would performing (level) runs on this version of the game be allowed (maybe with a different variable) ? As far as I know, the only major difference between the two versions is that the Steam version runs at 45 FPS, whereas the Flash one seems to run at only 30 (maybe I'm wrong though, I don't know exactly, but having played both I feel like the movement is much smoother in the new version). The other differences seem to be purely cosmetic (the elephant is a slightly darker blue and the "suicide" objective is renamed into "take a death").
Firstly, I've noticed that some countryballs appear to be missing in the list for certain categories. I may have missed some, but for example, Switzerland is not in the list for the 1914 campaign, and the same thing applies for Sweden in the 1922 campaign. Could you please add these ?
Regarding the most recent update, a new historical battle was added (Second Balkan war). It would be nice to see it added to the leaderboards too.
Another thing that was added in update 1.6 was the ability to improve individual countryballs' statistics by spending countrycoins. By spending enough countrycoins, you can change the run quite drastically and be able to get much better times than you would by playing without this feature. For example, my PB in the 1861 campaign as France is 4:41 (with default stats), whereas jazz_93's record is 1:33, over 3 minutes faster ! This is not only due to better execution, but also a different strategy, that would be impossible to use without spending countrycoins. While I think there are already a lot of categories, and I don't think it would be worth adding even more, I suggest having an additionnal variable to know whether or not the runner used countrycoins to upgrade their countryballs. I am saying that because I believe it would be more fair to the people who submitted runs before update 1.6, but also because countrycoins can be a bit tedious to get without spending money into the game (especially since they're already used to unlock countryballs). This is just a proposition though, feel free to reject it if you think it's unnecessary or would cause problems I didn't consider. :)
Currently, if you go to the "rules" section of the individual levels death% category, it will say "time stops as soon as touching the flag", which is obviously not true. Please, could you fix this issue ?
Also minor complaint, but level 15 should be called "fifteen" and not "fiveteen" (as it is currently named).
Just asking this question because the rules seem to be pretty strict about that. Am I allowed to submit several IL runs and group all of them in one single video, and then give timestamps for the start and end of each of the runs in their description ?
Hello, I got into speedrunning this game recently and I have a question.
I am using Linux, and finding a way to run Livesplit was an absolute pain (I'm using the OBS version of Livesplit One for now), and even then I don't think I can use any autosplitters. I will not submit any runs yet, because I think I can improve my time by a lot, but I would still like to know how to properly re-time my runs, in case I get a better time soon.
Is there an exact moment when I need to start and end the timing, and if so, which are they ? For the moment, I start counting from the first frame when King's Pass appears on the screen (as it's apparently how it is counted) and end at the first fully black frame after defeating the Hollow Knight.
Hello, I'd like to link my Steam account to my profile. However, when I try to put my name "Piano-player25", the "Continue" button becomes grey as soon as I type the "-" character and I can't click it, despite it being my actual username on Steam. Would there be another way to link my Steam account, or anything that could help me do that ?
Hello ! I would like to submit one of my old runs that I did on PS4, but the only platform that is disponible in the submitting form is PC. Would it be possible to add options for console runs ? Or should I just submit it as if I did it on PC ? Thank you by advance for your answer. :)
