Next time, have the full audio (music , dialogue and sfx)

IGT is fair for everyone, because any console or emulator can compete with each other without disadvantage, and also you can switch item between stages because it will make stage run faster

Utage has a category for individual stages which you can post your runs of a specific stage, but all stages catergory would be nice since i run the all stage Speedrun for Utage (and other Basara games), and quick reminder that Utage Speedrun Board uses IGT (In Game Time) instead of RTA (Real Time Action)

For Anyone who has an interest in Speedrunning in Conquest Mode Category, this guide is for you

First of all, if you want to start a run with the shortest run possible, select Tokugawa Ieyasu or Ishida Mitsunari Conquest Modes because they can finish their routes in 5 Stages compared with the rest of the cast which have to deal with 6 routes and near guarantee chance of Sekigahara Intrusion (with the exception of Gyobo & Hondam but they don't have a consistent way of killing on which is why I recommend Tokugawa or Ishida), as for your tag partner i recommend selecting Fuma Kotaro on lower difficulties and Uesugi Kenshin on higher difficulties because generally the fastest characters and help with speedrun as for higher difficulties, Uesugi Kenshin is better chosen for this since his kill power is insane and can able to kill bosses in the process which Fuma Kotaro heavily struggles with kills in the higher difficulty

As for your first stage to run, I recommend you to start with Amago Harumasa since this stage is the fastest in Utage and you can get it in under 30 seconds but this stage is also the most luck reliant, so it's best to be prepared for the stage (This Stage I selected is Amago so select it)

After beating Amago, make sure 12 armies are fighting each other, and 6 armies defeated.

For Stage 2, you have to get 400 kills before the third stage in order to avoid the last stand which is a 3 minute stage which is horrible to speedrun, it's best advice to get 400 kills.

As for the stage recommendations for stage 2, I'll recommend go for Saika Magoichi or Mori Motonari Stage since those stages are generally easy to get 400 kills and they are fast with it, they are also counterpick stages to get 400 kills but i recommend only go for them if they have the moneybag icon which summon moneybags which can increase you kill count, the counterpick stage i would recommend are Sanada/Ishida/Tokugawa/Shimazu/Aneakoji.

After beating the Second Stage with 400 kills, make sure 12 armies are fighting each other and 6 armies defeated again, and make sure 7 armies are left, if you have 8 or 9 armies left, it's not the end of the run, you can still continue your run as long the army stages are short , fast and consistent but if the stages are too long, it's best to reset from here.

For Stage 3, just pick the fastest stage available to you and pass the stage

After Stage 3, Make sure 6 armies are fighting and 3 armies defeated (this usually always happen so don't worry about it)

For Stage 4, same as stage 3, pick the fastest stage possible but try to keep a western army and eastern army opponents alive for Stage 5, since two opponents of the same armies sometimes do not fight and stalls you into Stage 6, so try your best to keep them alive, but if one or two of the stages are slow, better just reset at this point

After Stage 4, two outcomes will happened, one mentioned above of two same armies stalling or two different armies fighting other that can lead to only army remaining which is the last stage which is stage 5, if the last stage is Date or Kanbe, unfortunately you have to reset the runs since those stages are awful for speedrun since they take too long (3 min minimum), if you get those stages reset, if not continue with your run.

For Stage 5 or Stage 6 (Non-Sekigahara), Just finish the last stage as fast as possible, simple as that.

(Example of Stage 5 One Army Remaining, Unfortunately i have to reset my run since Date is a horrible speedrun stage and leads to Osaka Dragon Summer which is a good 1 minute stage but i am trying to prevent Sekigahara/Osaka Summer so it's not worth it)

After Stage 5/6 (Non-Sekigahara), if you just get a golden text that means you finished your run, but if you don't get that text and it shows a red dot that means you have one more stage to deal with which is a Sekigahara or Osaka Summer

For Stage 6/7 (Sekigahara), same as before, finish the stage as fast as possible, simple as that but I would recommend running into Ieyasu Sekigahara Stages since those stages are faster, but if you get Sekigahara Schemes (As Ieyasu), you must reset the run since that stage is very slow for Tokugawa/Fuma but if you didn't get Sekigahara Schemes, you should be fine.

After finishing your last stage (Sekigahara or not) which flashes the golden text, Congratulations you have completed your speedrun and you should see your IGT (In Game Time) and if you recorded your run and the time is good or broke the record, submit the time into the conquest mode Any% based on the difficulty your chose for your run.

Hello everyone I have reorganized the board to clean things up while adding things like Individual Levels in the order they appear in game. I will be going through top 3 runs in each category and compiling and posting their IGT times as well. IGT is a more stable and fair metric of tracking time when compared to RTA especially given the many different consoles and emulators this game can be run on. I will try to cleanup anything unclear in regards to rules or guidelines that should be followed. Some runs were found to have a lot of discrepancies with their run speed alongside some other timers being out of sync so I will be taking the next few days to look through and check old runs so if you see some runs disappear its likely because they dont meet the rules going forward. If a run ends early similar to what happened in ipunK's NG WR for "All Main Stories" I will use the RTA and subtract some time for cutscenes. Having the IGT of all stages is much preferred to get the correct time so make sure to show the video up to that point and do not cut it too early. **If you have any questions feel free to post a thread to ask about anything and we will be sure to get that info to you ASAP.**
