We haven't really had a consistent timing up until recently with my announcement a while back. Garsh and myself have not had inputs from previous mods, and as stated before the timing was a bit too ambiguous. Thanks for pointing this out. I'll chat with Garsh and get this sorted in the near future.
Yeah thats fairly common. We accept videos with multiple records in a single run.
Yeah it's pretty much what bruhman223 says. We went into more detail in the discord server announcements so feel free to have a look or contact me there.
Thats a common misconception of speedrun.com. We dont delete runs, so all of the verified runs are still valid, but the board only shows the best time achieved. If you want to find them, there is a filter. Then from filter you go Obsolete Runs > Shown. This should show every verified run.
As some of you may have been aware, we previously had a limited range of accepted video platforms as a way of ensuring video can be look at scrutiny in case of cheated runs. However, we have decided to ease this rules to accomodate other platforms.
This is the amended rule: All runs using the in-game timer (IGT) will be considered for verification regardless of which video platform the run was uploaded to. However, if the video does not contain IGT, it must be uploaded to YouTube as it is the only platform where our retiming tool work. If you are uploading to Youtube, make sure your video is not set to Private, so we can access it.
All other rules still apply, so runs may still be rejected for other reasons. This will be effective 9th October 2021.
Suit yourself. The amount of offensive content you posted and the fact that you are so stubborn as to not even budge just furthers my reason against having you in the community. You just don't know boundaries and instead of trying to take in the perspective of others, you insist on "being right", even after the Discord ban. This is simply a result of you always escalating things so keep telling yourself that you are correct.
Its way more than that, you did way more than the British jokes to get banned but you won't acknowledge any wrongdoing. If you do feel like saying anything, I havent blocked my src messages.
