I think preset 5 works better for difficulties below extreme. For extreme and impossible mode, preset 4 proves as better

As a verifier for other Granny games, I would say the rule with "Time starts when Day 1 appears" adds unreasonable amount of seconds for no reason on all runs. The rule should be modified where the time starts when the player can move (That is when the white dot in the middle of the screen appears)

To answer your question, the game is bugged. That's the only reason
