Is it possible that the game doesn't use the GPU, but the integrated graphics? If yes, is there a way so solve that issue?
Well, i vote no. There's more than enough categories for this game already to have some fun imo. Hell, some of them aren't even routed yet. There's still a lot of work to do with the existing categories.
So yeah, i'd say if someone want to run NG+, no problem, but the run will not appear on SR.com (yes, including mine, no free WR Kappa)
What do you guys think? Should we add it?
FYI, the main difference with NG is the infinite rocket launcher. But since some people are running it...
I agree, it's a cheap way to "save time", since you don't save anything at all for the RTA. Anyway, it looks like the problem is solved.
Also, i agree even more with Clix's speech on community decisions. That's how things should have been since the very beginning. One guy alone can't decide so much rules and stuff for a whole community. I'm glad it changed, and even more glad to see that it works the way it is now. That give that extra motivation to get my ass back on this game ASAP. You guys rocks.
Go home Shadow, you're drunk. Keepo
For some people, biohard will be faster, for some (like me) it will be much slower. Unfortunately, it depends on your PC specs.
On the other hand, biosoft seems to be consistent for those who can run it, but if you can't, then you're fucked. Unfair aswell.
PC speedrunning in a nutshell.
Nah, it's in the software you're using for your gamepad (Xpadder, MotionInJoy, etc...).
Just bind the mouse to one of the analogs sticks. ;)
It's the fastest way indeed. And it can be even faster by mastering the GL quickshot, but good luck with that bullshit. Kappa
Definitely slower than the usual strat, for a simple reason : More movements for a final position less closer to the key.
Yet, sharing strats with others speedruners is actually a good thing, even if the strats are not optimal/faster/whatever. :)
@Jesse_Porter : I added you as a mod.
First i was like "wtf this guy is saying, he never contacted me". But yeah, now i know. Thanks to twitch your message has arrived in the "spam" section of my inbox... whatever, problem solved! :)
So, yeah, not gonna do that on skype. I've made a server on discord. Seems pretty better.
Ah, well, we can move it on another platform with no problem, if some people are not that much confident in skype's security. Skype or another thing, it's the same for me. :)
For the past skype group, yeah, i understand your position. But this one's goal is pretty different tbh. It's just, you know, chatting, chillin, nothing more.
I think it's a good idea, for many reasons. The newcomers can easily introduce themselves, people can better know about each other, things like that. Again, it's just a friendly action, nothing else. :)
Yo guys!
So, i've decided by my own to create a skype group, open to everyone, veterans or newcomers. No goal in particular, it's just for chatting and chillin purposes. No drama, no circlejerking, no egotrip. Just discussions about our passion, stream advertising, stuff like that.
Feel free to join or not, it's your choice.
Let's make our community enjoyable again!
Edit : move on Discord, new link https://discord.gg/0hYGZorKMW6lFwbE
I guess we can authorize some form of webcam recording for the runs that are done on DS/3DS. If the quality is good enough, if the video and audio are clear... why not?
What's your opinion?
So what about this project? Is it still planned?
If so, i'm in for Deadly Silence.
Dchaps & Sephjul
One vote per person, i guess it will help to keep the vote balanced and fair.
Just for clarifying one thing : The skype group is not "private". Every single member of the community can join it.
