[SOLVED] Ok so first of all, thank you for your responses. Second, the last "first try" I did on my 100% save was a lucky one, this morning I couldn't do it anymore. The placebo I had was definitely gone at that point.
Once I realized the Cataris Shinesink is absolutely harder than Hanubia's, I started to deconstruct each video I recorded and compared the results for failed and successful attempts, and it's only a few hours ago I discovered I that Samus died each time as soon as the grapple hit a surface. On my successful attempt, the grapple hit the top right corner (the furthest point) of the room, and I remembered that one very specific moment in a video where it said that the grapple was what kept you alive while OOB, so it makes sense that hitting a surface early would let the detection kill you.
Once I confirmed my thoughts looking back at the previous locations I failed (tight spaces) and watching a speedrun performing it, I began working on my muscle memory, trained to aim at that specific corner again and again, then around 30 minutes, this happened https://drive.google.com/file/d/19WwzwGbyVRLAomm1hqqondV9xmTCFJrl/view?usp=drivesdk
That's it! I did it... Now only one more clip and I can obtain screw attack early (oh f*** the timing is tight)
I was getting discouraged because I didn't know what I was doing wrong. No tutorial ever points out that detail on Cataris and they all use Hanubia as a training ground.
So I'll try doing just that, a video pointing out how harder Cataris is and then I'll start training on Artaria's Shinesink clip for screw attack (definitely will help on Dread mode :)
The first time I successfully shinesink clipped was yesterday on my Dread mode run. i didn't have the diffuse beam back then so after fiddling for about an hour or less, I gave up, restarted my save and headed back to Kraid.

But now I can perfectly do it over 50% of the time?!

At some point I even thought "oh maybe it's those revealed Power bomb blocks that act like a wall inside the floor? But my 100% save file has them all revealed and no problem there.
At this point I have no Idea. I have the confirmation that I can consistently pull off the shinesink clip, but the OOB threshold in Dread mode seems like it's buffed for some reason. I can't find anything else with that issue on the web and I figured here would be an appropriate place to ask.
