I usually play on a nes classic, but if I ever do submit a time, are emulators allowed? What ones do people use? Is there anything else I need to keep in mind?

Hey, simple question, is gzdoom all good for speedrunning? I’ve set some middle of the road times and just want to be sure before I celebrate

Before I try it out and get used to it, is it ok to use macros to get the doors open perfectly? I know macros aren’t allowed on the original versions, but it’s not listed on the ds rules.
