Chat was wrong on the grind btw Abilities only work if you're riding the correct stance, Team Heroes and Rose ride Regular (the way you ride) Whereas Babylon and Dark run Goofy, stand backwards for abilities in their stories. That's what the top left icons are for, you'll need it for full runs since you're swapping between both rider styles.
