By the way, I would like to formally apologize to the speedrunning community, no one knows this but I am the reason chess was fixed in the first place, I had emailed the developers about the glitch (before I knew anything about the Speedrun community) and they ended up fixing the glitch shortly after my email, part of me is a but happy since now there is actually some skill required to Speedrun that category, and now it's actually challenging to beat the AI, I really think we should redo the category all together or at least make a new category for the updated chess game
As you all know the Chess game glitch has been fixed by the developers, so now the question is should there be reruns for the category now that it now requires actual skill, there wasn't much difference from easy to hard but now there is, should the runs be redone?
I'm not gonna lie, I'm the reason they fixed this trick, so I'm sorry but I really wanted the game to be normal

Oh wow that's the closest anyone has gotten to beating this WR, though it's definitely beatable so I'm excited to see if this game ever blows up again like it did in the old days
