"Noticed in some other MX games they have Nationals and Championship races separated into two different categories. Was wondering if this was a thing we could do for this game to make the run a little shorter and more bearable."
idk, I had them originally separated, but then I combined them and left it as was because I wouldn't be too sure what "Any%" would actually entail for this game.
"Also are we allowed to change the number of laps from 5 to 3 ?"
I don't believe so? I could probably ask to see what the other ATV/MX runners think.
That would be something to ask @XYX, I can try and talk to him about it to see what he thinks.

Nous avons déjà un classement de niveau que les gens peuvent faire des séries s'ils le souhaitent: https://www.speedrun.com/mx_unleashed/individual_levels
I didn't actually know there was an XBoxOne port, my bad, I'll fix it right away ^^
I mean, times w/o loads have started appearing on the boards, right? It's not perfect but it's the closest we're probably going to get.
Also July 2, 2020 (Initially March 11, 2020)
"Auto-Timer to take out Load Times" Done, btw. Created by UnchosenOne
July 2, 2020 "Look into past patches, see if they should be allowed"
This was actually found May 28, 2020 ...But I forgot to post about it here and made a new thread instead: https://www.speedrun.com/dream_pc/thread/85k2g
Currently, previous versions of the game aren't allowed, they're more unfinished than the current game, and would require their own boards, perhaps these will be something to add when "sub-game boards" come back, but until then, hold off on running downgrades.

Where to download them: https://steamdb.info/depot/229581/manifests/
You have to type in the "download_depot 229580 229581 XXXX" with the ID of the version you want to download replacing the "XXXX"
How to Install: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1805934840
- Run Cheat Engine.
- File -> Open Process -> Steam
- Set the right-hand settings to the following:
- "Memory Scan Options": steamclient.dll (just keep pressing S when the drop-down is open to iterate through each and find it quicker)
- "Value Type": Array of byte
- "Hex": checked
- "Writable": unchecked (!)
- "Array of byte": D0 84 C0 0F 85 2E FF FF FF
- Click "First Scan". You should get a single Address and the searched Value next to it.
- Right-click the Value -> Change value of selected address(es)
- Enter new value: D0 84 C0 E9 2F FF FF FF 90
- Click OK. Done. You can now exit Cheat Engine and are able to downgrade games without the "Manifest not available" error, until you exit Steam. Continue through the guide as before.
You will have to do this every time Steam is (re)started
If anything isn't clear (it isn't really for me), just ask and hopefully someone who understands this stuff better than I do can help. I'm just putting this here because now we know how to do it. ^^;
Though currently, none of the previous versions are allowed (they're all unfinished anyway so running the rules we currently have isn't possible), that might change one day, and having this here as a resource would be nice for when that does happen.
You guys should probably make a link that doesn't expire ^^; My inconsistent interest of running this game had resparked and I was hoping to hop into the server only to find out every link that's connected to this board that's supposed to lead me there has expired.
Would there be any chance I could get that last sub-game possibly added through a request of the mods?
Slightly rhetorical question, because I know there was probably people who abused the hell out of the function so they just took it away, but where did the ability to add sub-games go?
Like, I decided to go in and better flesh out and clean up the board for Ahlman Arcade 2018, (which is a minigame collection game created by a bunch of college students, something that the ability to add sub-games really helped organize) and I found an entire minigame that was overlooked previously when creating the board (due to the fact it was hidden away), so I figured it'd be good to add it as a new sub-game when I realized that the ability to add sub-games at all, had been removed.
Like, there's not even a button to request the addition of a new sub-game to go through mods with, it's just gone. So, how would one go about adding one to the board if the situation would call for it? Like, if it was a game that was heavily modded or a game that has a lot of minigames inside it? What do?
I'm working on requesting a third game to a series that I want to try getting a series board for, but I've looked at the "Request Series" form, and I'm slightly confused as to what I should be using for the "link to a video of your run", like, will any of the games do? Or do I need to submit a 4th one? Or do I need a specific one? It's just kinda unclear to me so I'm asking for clarification sake. ^^;
Also, I tried running 100% EOR due to the new-ish update and while Miner's Dry appears to be fixed, the projector for the Brimclif's elevator seems to be broken. Because when I did the puzzle as was, the game seemed to softlock on me, idk if that's just me or not though.
Wait, you mean that WASN'T the way I was supposed to do Trust Skip? XD That's been how I've done it since I started getting it in Trifecta Runs.
Well, good to know it saves time.
Dec 20, 2019 "Look into DRM-Free versions, see if they should be allowed"
I forgot to talk about this when I found it out, but GOG has a version of Dream that I've been playing recently, the only difference between the two of them is the amount of time you have to wait before you can re-open it if it crashes, otherwise, the versions are the exact same... idk about Humbles copy yet, I doubt it'll be different, but I still want to see myself.
So I verified this run for: https://www.speedrun.com/crazy_machines_1.5#Inventors_Training_Camp
It didn't have any weird variables or anything, but it doesn't appear on the leaderboard for some reason. Any reason why?
I made individual boards of "sub-games" for Ahlman Arcade so now, if you want to run the games here, you now should post them to the individual boards here: https://www.speedrun.com/ahlman_arcade_2018/games#unofficial=on
Wouldn't that allow for something akin to mere extension boards?
Because I've noticed those things are also under their own tab now, or is that not entirely it's own thing altogether? I'm only asking because it sounds like it could be potentially exploited and I'm just trying to better understand.
I'm confused as to what they are, and I've been looking for anything (forum post, changelog, whatever) that can better explain what they're supposed to be, and I'm either blind and just haven't seen things that are out in the open, or there's actually nothing that explains what they are, but either way, I'm curious as to what they are. ^^;
