Due to circumstances beyond this humble bot's control, the marathon has been postponed for a while - likely until at least February.

Sorry for the hassle and for those of you who did submit, I was really looking forward to getting some donations for sellouts in, but alas, it's not going to happen right now.

We were hoping that the website would be ready, but sadly it isn't. We didn't sellout well enough to get the funds in time. We don't have the same GDQ sellout levels. Yet.

An online only marathon, SELLOUT Marathon will be happening the weekend of Dec 5 & 6, 2015.

The marathon is about having fun, being silly, giving runners the chance to paractice their marathon strats, and having stupid memes everywhere.

If there are enough submissions, this will be extended to the 4-7 of December.

It is a free, online only marathon. IF anyone sells out well enough, a portion of the money that is generated from the event will be given to a charity - more details to come about which cause - and the remainder of the money will be used for speedrunning community events and support.
