I just bought the disc version (unfortunately, no Galactic Adventures yet) and I really think that not allowing mods to update to the newest versions or to access the Sporepedia servers is kinda unfair to people who want to use the disc version (I know there isn't an exact reason to use disc version but it'd make the speedgame more accessible.) I propose that either mods that serve to patch the game for full playability be allowed in all runs or that a Disc% be made for runs using the disc.

Would a run from a Wii using the Nintendont emulator be considered Console or Emulator? According to the developer, Nintendont uses a virtual machine system to run the game, so it should run as if it was played on a regular Wii.

I discovered something by complete coincidence: a skip I like to call Buuhan Skip.

On Stage 8, if you defeat Buutenks before he can absorb Gohan, you can skip the entire Buuhan fight and go straight to Stage 9.

I'd suggest bringing Goku/Supreme Kai over to where Buutenks is and generally avoid using Gohan unless Buutenks happens to run into him, as if he falls over, Buutenks absorbs him and you fail the skip. I think it won't be much of an improvement, seeing as Stage 8 is second-to-last in the North American and European versions of the game, but it's a discovery nonetheless.
