I don't think they got banned for being a number. If someone else makes the account "Daravae2" and misbehaves, why would I ask if someone with almost the same name as me got banned? Either way, asking why an account got banned isn't going to get you an answer since that information is reserved for site staff. And if anything people are just gonna do useless speculation in this thread because they don't know the specifics. Bottom line is that if you don't misbehave, I can't see a reason why you would be banned for being a number.

World Records are not meaningless, arbitrary things.. What a silly thing to say.

Getting a World Record is a big achievement for a ton of people. The problem is that it's often being used a tool to measure success which ruins the achievement on it's own. Cool achievements, like speedrun World Records are not suddenly more important when you have more of them. They are only important because they are the fastest time ever achieved in a game.

Of course there are others. And people should be able to identify how they want. Don't worry so much about people abusing a textbox. There are a thousand places on this site you could abuse a textbox. That's why you have moderation, profanity filters and other things to combat abuse. And I mean, if it gets out of hand, then the site learned that it's users are not yet ready for such freedom. Which I really don't expect.

Some of the implications are already pretty self-explanatory. See, even if you would list things a hundred times or try and break down every word that extensively, we still can't make people read or even think about anything that is actually listed there unfortunately.

Thanks but most of this info is on the game request intro page so. You should also know that a lot of users who ask questions in the forum don't read that page. And even if they would read that, other users wouldn't read a stickied post.

It's known that some pages can spit out this error and Elo is looking for a fix.
