So heres some rules for 10 levels:
Time starts as soon as you press the start button on level one and end as soon as you enter the end portal in level 10. Levels must be completed in order. Shields and revives not allowed. Adventureboy should be used (i think thats what his name is )(the first character anyway)
on a sidenote since we have that small "loading" problem between pressing play and and getting cointroll of the character we could do something with that but i dont know what we would consider as loading and what gameplay so possibly scratch that
If you do add this category (levels 1-10) it might potentially add many runs ( i have my reasons of saying this)(its not random)
Another idea.. since this game's levels arent cateorised into worlds we should add a category that is many levels for example levels 1-10 or 10-20 and so on and so forth...
You know how we have the general highscore thing , well we could do a kind of specific highscore system, what i mean? The category: Highscore(1 floor) Get as high as score possible on only 1 floor so as soon as you break the final blocks thing on that floor your score is over
We could do the same with 2 or more floors
Idea: Have a highscore but for only 1and/or 2 and/or 3 floors etc.
So i retimed all the runs with the method that i have mentioned in the suggestion thread The rules should be changed to:
Time starts as soon as your character starts moving and ends as soon as he touches the end portal
Level 1:
5.68 MilanDoetGames 6.45 SkyCloud 7.49 Hawkeyes Galaxy 7.56 Cytruss
Level 2:
4.83 MilanDoetGames 6.92 Cytruss
Level 3:
4.10 MilanDoetGames 5.30 Cytruss
Sorry for pinging you sky but you're the only mod :P @Skycloud
name it : arcade (2 floors) or (5 floors) dont just have it (2) AND (5)
If we do use my timing method the difference between devices should be minimal. If you still lag try to close every thing on your phone besides the game and the recording software. That should minimize the lag
Im flying over sees so i wont have internet for like 2 days so i might not respond soon
Also there are over 30 levels (as far as I've gotten ) not only 15 -_-
I feel like the way the individual levels are timed isnt that correct. Beeing a mod in a really simular game (spike city) i feel like the timer starting as soon as your character starts moving is more fair cause the small time between pressing play and having controll over your character may very a bit between devices which may give an advantage to people with speedier devices. Also the time should stop as soon as you hit the end portal thing because the first frame which the menu appears is really specific and may also give a small advantage to people with faster devices (again) Also the level 1 world record of 9 seconds is a bit bs .. i retimed it my self a couple of times (with the way the original rules are) and they all turned out longer..
Mention: @Skycloud
You should really add any% and 100% in the level category since you can avoid some donts and/or stars so you can either complete it 1 or 3 stars
I'm not suggesting for the previous runs to be hidden im just saying that any run posted after x/x/2018 or whenever we decide, will have to require a video Any run before that, that doesnt have a video is still gonna be valid
Also i made a flipside discord check it out : https://discord.gg/3Eqa8rS
So what is going to happen to the issue i suggested ,is requiring videos going to be a thing? do more people agree?
So i posted roughly a month ago a level 1 screenshot... it wasnt mine! It was a combination of 3 different runs.. that i made in ms paint. The point was to test the mods and since there is no real way to see if a run is photoshoped (or ms painted in my case). So where am i going with this? You should probably require videos from now and on, like we do at the highscore category in Spike City.I've taken the run down. It was a second place so no wr or anything great but this could be harmfull. So you should state in the rules that any run submited after x/x/2018 should require a video. Peace ✌
