I was speaking with some event coordinators about hosting speedruns of this game and the consensus is that manually splitting for load times is generally seen as convoluted, sketchy, and unprofessional. That's the case especially without an autosplitter which has problems of its own.

I think this board should take console into account instead of load times if there's a high demand to draw a distinction. Load times are generally part of Speedruns as different consoles tend to have their own little advantages and disadvantages (like Ocarina of Time runners are just now switching over to VC after years of working on N64 because the perks of the N64 version compensated for the lag reduction in VC until new glitch discoveries were made).

Having to retime every run in post is going to absolutely kill any appeal there is to speedrunning this and prevent this game from being run at major events.
