Minnesota, USAMidfall Speedball 2020 will be an online marathon in support of the White Bear Area Emergency Food Shelf, a food shelf open to anyone who needs it. They've been a critical support for many families through the Covid-19 pandemic as they accept everyone who comes to them for support.

Midwest Speedfest 2020 is an online marathon taking place August 28-30 on the Midwest Speedfest Twitch page.
This marathon will go on from 10am CST on Friday until 9pm CST on Sunday in support of AbleGamers. AbleGamers is a 501C that strives to improve the lives of those with disabilities by creating opportunities that enable play. They supply adaptive game technology for those with disabilities so that all can play games.
Submissions are open from May 3rd - July 7th at 11:59pm CST with a schedule coming out by July 14th. Click here for a link to the submission form

[center]Hi everyone and welcome to Midwinter Speedsprinter 2020![/center]
Midwinter Speedsprinter 2020 is an on-site marathon taking place at VGM Con March 6-8. The venue will be the beautiful Sheraton West Minneapoils at *12201 Ridgedale Dr, Minnetonka, MN 55305. Click here for hotel photos. *
We will be fundraising for CarbonFund, a non-profit providing carbon offsetting resources for business and organizations. To learn more about CarbonFund, you can visit their website here.
Outside of the marathon, there will be lots to do at VGM Con! There will be several concerts by bands such as Do a Barrel Roll. If you play an instrument, you can have a jam session in the dedicated jam space. If you're not wanting to play music, you can attend a tournament, panel, or attend the market at the convention or shop at Ridgedale Mall across the street. There's something for everyone!
Midwinter Speedsprinter will be streamed on the Midwest Speedfest Twitch page
Midwinter Speedsprinter will also be restreamed in several foreign languages. There will be a French restream by Baguette Restream , a German restream at Germench , A Portugese restream at SpeedrunsBrasil, and a Japanese Restream at Japanese Restream. Please support their channels!
Submissions open November 18 and end February 6 at 11:59pm. The schedule will be released as soon as possible once submissions close.
Three things to note if you plan on submitting:
- ** If you are a runner you must* register for the convention here.* Please use the code MWSS and you will receive a discount!.**
- The marathon will be going on 24 hours a day, so please make sure you account for that in your availability.
- Runners need to bring the game equipment required for their run. This includes game, controllers, power, and AV cables. Midwest Speedfest will be providing the stream setup.

Speedyfists is a biannual speedrunning marathon for fighting games. We believe fighting games can be great speedruns and want to create a place to showcase them.

Dates:
Submissions: July 29 - September 15, 2019 Marathon: October 18-20, 2019
We will be doing submissions through speedrun.com. You can submit it clicking "Submit game" on the left of this page.
Submissions Rules:
- Under the "Availability" tab in the submit run form, please include your timezone and all hours you are available to run your submission.
-There's no limit on how many games or categories you can submit. However, each submission requires a video.
-In the case of a race, each runner must submit a form.
- In the "Incentives" tab, please include any donation incentives you would like to include such as glitch exhibitions or bonus fights.
-Emulators are allowed (except banned ones).
About the games that can be accepted or not:
-TAS are accepted.
-Boxing, mixed martial arts and wrestling games, as we did on past marathons, can be accepted.
-Modes inside to fighting games, like Tekken Force, Chronicles of the Sword or Devil Within, can be accepted.
-Genres or games with fighting games features will be studied individually. In case of doubt, contact any of the organizers.
-Beat em up games could be accepted, but they will have less priority in comparison than more "pure" or conventional fighting games.
