You can activate the autosplitter and load remover in your LiveSplit layout so long as you have SOMA as your active game.
However for the load remover to work, you will have to download the SOMA LiveSplit Helper that you can find in the resources tab here on the site.
I am removing the 100% category from the leaderboards later today.
The game only being released digitally means the only way to re-do trophies and achievements is on Steam. Consoles and Epic users cannot do this.
All Endings and All Collectibles will remain on the boards.
Oh yeah, I forgot to update here, my bad!
I don't think the safe mode update justifies a new category. I'd be welcome to discuss this further if anybody has any concerns. Don't hesitate to query it, this is just what I've concluded.
So, yeah, go ahead and run on safe mode. 👍
Yes, it is to avoid the Formless ending.
If we get the Formless ending, the timer for the run does not end until you shoot the final bullet at the end of the game, so overall it loses a lot of time.
Hi Totally-Moist, please join the Discord and we can help you further. :) Link can be found on the left of the leaderboards.
Do you still get the achievement without the collectible after the lemon puzzle?
I think the changes in the A.I. warrants a separate category. Although it may not change a whole lot for Layers of Fear 2, having monsters active or not can really change a speedrun.
I say use it. I'll decide if it's different enough to justify a separate category or not.
I would really like for there to be an 100% category and as far as I'm concerned the only true way to 100% Layers of Fear 2 is to acquire every single achievement and trophy in the game. Since Layers of Fear 2 has only been released digitally this makes it awkward. We could make it so that if you are on console the trophies don't actually have to be EARNED, but the criteria of the trophy must still be met; but this would also make them very awkward to verify. Will definitely have to think this one through.
I tried that. My download speed was abysmal when I tried that method, but it seemed like it might work if the download completed.
