"Zeekers cheat sucks because now it is solely rng to when the nutcracker or mimic will spawn rather than what moons i should go to and how to maneuver through such levels. Not just "oh, the mimic didn't spawn in the first 2 minuets better reset." Please make it a new category or remove it all together."
That was already the whole category? You were just going to roll for the assurance, offense, or march nutcracker anyway on an eclipsed eject reroll. (See @kawaiikat1729 's 38.13 kick%, @Bigboe97 's kill%'s)
Then for mimic, it would basically just be roll for a quick 450 and stop sign to get to dine and roll an insta mimic. Basically just a Q1 run but you need to get twice the value and also roll an insta mimic, preferably one that decides to route towards ship. Zeekers to skip to the moon is fine imo.
All the other entities fall under the ejection reroll eclipsed (and you can do it without eclipsed it's just even more of a reset hell)
Slayer% is kind of the only one I agree with because all of the other categories feel like IL's while slayer feels more fullgame. I asked if Void if he could move it out from underneath the rest of the kill% runs and do a category split for it (version 35-38/40/45+ play very differently, but only 45+ is allowed for submission in slayer)
Zeekers is fine for 100% ILs. The timing rules were just from the start of the day to all of the scrap items collected, so it realistically just reduces reset time.
Kill% is just an RNG reducer and ejection strats (https://www.speedrun.com/Lethal_Company_Category_Extensions/runs/yvl65nxz) make it not really a timesave. Not allowed in all other categories iirc
@Neglance nvm, I guess the audio dies halfway through?
zoooom:
Yeah, I was referring to 1499 warping :P
Did they send it to you privately or something? Local files can not be viewed, so the run should at the very least be updated to something viewable by everyone
Invite works for me ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Gate warping is already used in the WW category. The FPS limit was introduced when someone was using an incredibly high end computer in the pocket dimension and moving at light speed. Definitely fine for TAS's but not fair for someone with a NASA computer to just have every WR pretty much by default
You have to quit into the lobby and then reload the save for it to fix itself. This is fine in lower quota runs but can be detrimental to higher quota runs due to save files having a cap on the amount of items on the ship that can be saved, being around 40. In order to prevent this from happening, don't spam your interact or drop key as two presses registered in the same frame break the game for the host. It's not possible if you're not the host afaik
Death% can just be retimed RTA so no worries :P
Just submit it to the boards and one of the mods will retime it for you
Yes, that run would be rejected. To reset your times, go into splits, then click on other, then click reset times.

Not all glitches are allowed. Gift box duplication, RNG manipulation, and double valued gift boxes are banned in the current glitched category. Everything else goes as far as I know

All mods are banned

Yes
I have asked for an unrestricted category that allows all glitches, but that likely won't be added. You can just run that unofficially if you would like to do some of the more game breaking value glitches :P
Yeah, if it's just a performance mod, I would imagine it would be fine. The 4gb patch and Forx's speedrun mod are allowed so I don't see why it would be banned.
This stuff'll be discussed once Multi and I get around to reviewing the applications together (hopefully today if neither of us forget.) 008 and OoB rules will most likely be held to a community vote. I don't really understand why 008 was originally banned in the category, as skipping 008 doesn't go OoB. There is enough different between legacy and modern for that not to matter. But, I've heard very mixed consensus on the 008 ban, so that 100% should be left to a community vote.
Now that I have the ability to edit rules, the game rules have been updated to reflect RTA/LRT time requirements.
I'm generally against clogging the main boards with more categories and variables that like 2-3 people will run. You can just filter runs for difficulty and you'll see what the WR is. I'll ping Shadow about adding categories to the CE's and if I have the jurisdiction to do so.
