Just tried this out randomly today as something I've never played before and I absolutely loved the game. I'm wandering how many active runners there are these days that might be able to help me figure out speed strats. I think I have a few, but don't know much yet to know if there are any glitches or other things I'm missing

Could someone point me in the way of a guide for rng manipulation and the step route for the NES version? I've only found a few 3 hour Youtube videos for the route and documents that don't seem to work any more. I think I've figured out that some of it is reset when you turn the console off then on.
