Oh never mind the account was made 18 hours ago, obviously a meme account
The man who first got the 5.57 clearly stated in his chart analysis of dragster said that it’s simply not possible to get anything lower than a 5.57. Todd Rogers claimed he started off in second gear but if that’s true then he’d get something around sub 5.0, so he’s clearly making it up. Btw DarQ_massacre do you have the link to these video? Cus it would be seriously entertaining
I've been speed running SMB for a while now and now feel confident enough to stream my attempts. I'm using an Nes mini on a HDMI monitor, how do I get the live footage from the monitor onto the mac? Ive already got OBS so I know how to set up the stream its just getting the live stream from the tv onto the mac onto youtube, I could use my phone as a webcam but its such poor quality that you can barely make out the times.
Help greatly appreciated! thanks
Can we all just congratulate omnigamer getting a 5.57? This is an insane achievement and I hope this gets picked up on by twin galaxies for being the "real world record." Congrats man, you've definitely earned it
I remember a month or two ago this had 5 or 6 runs on it, but it's slowly been growing ever since. Definitely a huge spike when andrewg came along
That's a fair call, I guess we're starting from scratch. But what about the dozens of other times on twin galaxies, I'm pretty sure they have proof
You don't need an account, I'm pretty sure the moderator can add in times on behalf of the player
Well if we're going to do that, shouldn't we add Todd rogers to the list? I know there is no video proof but it's a confirmed record by twin galaxies. Which I know is a dated website for speed runs but it doesn't make any sense to have a speed run leaderboard of dragster without Mr. Activision himself
Has anyone found any sites where it tells you how to get a really optimal time in dragster for the Atari 2600? Todd Rogers I believe did a how to guide on getting a time of 5.51 but I can't find it anywhere
I want to know how to frame count so I can figure out what my time is down to the millisecond. Is there some kind of formula or simply downloading something.
Appreciate the help!
I have a centipede 2600 cartridge for the Atari. Just wondering why it's listed as a game you can play it on but can't submit a run for it, because it's a not completely different game but obviously different. New category along side GBA and Arcade?
What are the rules for the highscore category. What score do you need to get for it to be a high score. Is it a speedrun to a certain score or is it just getting the most amount of points possible?
I have an Atari 2600 at home, do you reckon I should buy a real copy of the game? See if I can get a good time on there, pretty cheap as well
