Soooo, about my discovery to make the door glitch simpler... I'm trying, (whenever I can, Wich is not as much I wanted...😅) To find the right spot of where the door glitchs, to avoid the need to keep tilting the L3 like a crazy, to make the glitch happens...

So far I did managed to make the door glitch just by a exact spot next to the door, and gently pushing a little forward on the L3. But that only skips ONE cycle. Don't matter what I do, I can't skip more than one loop.so you definitely NEED to make the Door disappears to be able to make a multi loop skip. 🧐😵 Anyway, will try to keep improving this thing... Maybe with luck I can find something interesting... 😅

Well I was away from the forum and PT since I moved to Japan. But now.. I'm bringing my new toys with me.

Srlsy. I'm working on some new ways to glitch more easily the door, at the beginning of the game that are going to be a game change to all runners! Still working on it now. Just downloaded the game once again.

And beside that... What's up with this new rule that you NEED to erase your save file every time you restart your game? 😥 I mean. Isn't enough the starting scene of Lisa opening the door and the cockroachs at the floor? It only happens at the beginning of the game... And to keep erasing the save file makes you lose sooooo much time. Specially when you need to retry A LOT when trying not the glitch. 😵

Omni you already mastered the glitch! Seeing your Flashlight run was flawless! It's exactly how i used to do it, go till the wall at the side of the door, one step back to the front of the door, one step foward. And star the tilting the stick foward and back, for the glitch ? just like u did! But you are doing it better, in a more precise way ?

Sorry been missing too much... I moved from Brazil to Japan.. Things gone crazy. X_X and sadly I went to Tokyo Game Show to see Kojima... But he went to Brasil Game Show this year! Can you believe my lack of luck? ?

Yes I ageed that this method don't fit the New game Any% or 100% categories... I just wanted to prove that this is in fact a glitch, and not just "the game loading the last save" at first, I had thought of that too, but now I'm sure this is in fact a glitch... XD

Like plywood said, it could work for a New Game+ Runs, but we don't have this category, so well.... Gonna focus now on diferents glitch skips now XD

But every time you did, you beat the game again and again? Cause I was only able to do it once everytime I've tried it ^^" I even did the same thing in the first loop at the video, and it not worked to me...

I'll try to make it happen, without the need of finishing the game, This or I'll just try to see if the game let you pass the "press X at the photo" Loop, that was the far I have gone with the regular door glitch... XD

About the New game thing, ok I Kinda agreed with you 3... (and I say Kinda cause I'm not pretty sure that the first time I did the glitch, it was not after finished it... But I agreed that if it only works after finishing the game it would be a Any%+ Game...)

But now I want you two to try this like I said in the first blog here XD "Now I've tried to see if was the fact that the game don't save when you close the app when you skip just one loop and it could had loaded the last puzzle of the game I had finished before, BUT NO the game saves when you start over, so is not the case... "

And I said that because of those two major facts:

1: The pieces of photos that I took, was not anymore in the photo... It was like a clear brand new run with no pieces photos taken... (And I had took all in the run before you guys can check in my twitch videos I posted here, I suggest you to take the pieces too to try it)

2: This glitch only works Once! You can try to do it again just after beating the game using it, like doing it forever right? But again you can see that this don't happens at the end of my video for the WR, the glitch don't work twice... If you try, You will now start at the loop with Lisa opening the door and the cockroaches on the floor... Then I ask Why? If it is loading the last save from the last puzzle as you guys are arguing, it should, don't? ^^"

Also, I've send my Jumpscare% run too and this like the Flashlight% one, you can do it from a new save file, so no problems with this one, will be accepted right?

Just to make clear to anyone doubting of me yet:

Well, I have all in videos of what I'm doing, streaming and by the phone. All videos are completely raw, no edit what so ever, directly from the PS4 live to the Twich, at same time for my phone. Also I'm teaching how to make it, I'm not even the only one that does the door glitch "Indeed I discovered the Restart door glitch one"

But anyway I'm not a lier, I said I did the glitch, then I prove it, also did another ones for the Flashlight% and Jumpscare% one. It took me more then 300 tries to everything! And it's all on my twitch... Don't know what more prooves you want that I'm not a lier, Also I'm the oldest speed runner around here of P.T. Everything I did was Legit, I would not start scaming now... XD

If you follow my instructions the "restart door glitch" you and anyone that can make the baby laugh at first "Jake" can also beat my record.... Before I start my speed runs 2 years ago, everyone was using "Jerith", I never got that laugh with it... But with Jake I managed, but never really at first try like you guys do XD

And Flaco, about the starting form Settings screen, is not the only way to verify a "clean start" since the first scene with Lisa opening the door and the 2 cockroaches on the floor only happens at the start of the game too!

The game never saves until you enters the door loop at the end of the stairway... But when you pauses the game it "saves", don't know if that is one of the cause of the "restart glitch", but you can see it how is done, besides the brightness of the video, and even compare with the ones from the Twitch.TV, in the end of this stream And all this other one: You can compare the videos and see that they are the same, only reason is that I was shooting with my phone, and I'm only doing that in this specific glitch because it requires the restart of the Game, and with that the stream stops! But my phone shots at 720p, but you can Cleary see at the end of the video when I finished the game again and tried the glitch once more, that it doesn't worked.

Matt acepted the any% one don't know why he put 2m10s... The right is 2m54s (the full process of the "restart glitch")

Also I've send another one of the Jumpscare%, that one is crystal clear, you can see the door glitch perfect... XD

I DID IT AGAIN! @_@ This time I recorded with my phone... So let me carefully explain how this look like it works... (I'm still not sure...) BUT I'm sure it involves pausing at the bathroom door OR the door you come in, and restarting the game at the FIRST LOOP (don't worked to me in the second loop), it may require you to COMPLETE the game once, since you guys can check at my last videos on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/leon_bsb/videos/all

AGAIN this is not the game loading the last save from the past game since you guys can notice it I had all the pieces of photos at the last puzzle from the last run, so after finish the game and start over the game make a new save, because you can see at the speed run record video bellow that I had to get all the pieces of the photo again! If it was the game loading my last save from the final.puzzle, the photo would be complete! Right? So there u go this IS a glitch that I don't know yet How I managed to discover it, but yay! XD now everyone can try it! =3

Capridog_ I'm trying but I'm failing now at doing the glitch right... I did manage to skip one time 4 loops from the start though... ???? but will keep on trying!

So I beat the game in 2:13 minutes... I'll get there later, but before:

How about delete the 100% or Any% since the time can be the same because of the 1 minute free in the last puzzle "door loop" is more than enough so there is really no point to have it, and in the place put the thread (Glitchless Run) since there is a huge difference at times without glitces... What do you guys think?

So about the record... I was praticing the new glitch that you guys have been using to break the WR over and over... And after I finished the game about 4 times I was about to reapeat, then it happens! I started the timer again and a new run, I did the first door glicht (skiped one loop) went to the doorway saw the door closed to the stairs, paused the game, closed the app, opened it again, when it restarts I went to the door to do the glich again, this time I did alot faster (foward and backward at the stick) when I entered the door I was with the Blue Flashlight and the doorway was dark, I WAS AT LAST PUZZLE SOMEHOW! Then I finished the game again looked at my cellphone timer and it was 2:13. Yes even I don't believe what happened.... And I could not stream since I don't have HDMI capture card, and the stream ends when you close the game for the glitch... ???? I'm so sad for this I really wanna prove that I'm not lying
