Hey everyone, I wanted to make a post about the activity of the leaderboards recently. People have been asking why runs are taking longer than normal to be looked at recently, so I think it would be best for us to be transparent. Recently, we’ve been getting A LOT more runs than we normally do. 

On average, we’ve received about 25 run submissions a day on average these last 6 days, and there are currently about 100 run submissions that are still waiting to be looked at. I’m expecting it to be like this for at least a little while longer as the amount of submissions have only increased in these last 6 days. In just the last 24 hours, we have gotten about 50-55 more submissions. This is a big change from just a week or two ago, where we’d only get around 3 runs a day at most. We did not expect this amount of submissions in such a short amount of time, and we were not ready for it. Currently, we are only a team of 5 people who can verify/reject runs, and we all still have our own lives and responsibilities outside of the leaderboards. 

With all this being said, we want to let you guys know that it will take longer than usual for us to get through all these runs. We know that some people have felt like they have waited a long time for their run to get looked at, and we truly apologize for that, especially to the newer people who have just recently started to submit their runs. We know it’s a bad first impression, but we promise you that we care and that we will do our best to keep up with everything. 

I hope this helps you guys understand what’s been going on, because we know how this might have looked from your guys’ perspective, especially for the newer runners, so we just wanted to fill you guys in on our situation.
