I discovered this after talking to some people about how funny it would be if this game had unintended shortcuts so I decided to look for one and yeah I discovered this.
I'm not sure if there are any unintended shortcuts on other tracks though...

Thank you for showing me the allowed emulators, and I apologize for attempting to submit a run with a banned emulator. Future runs will use allowed emulators (although hopefully by then I'll have a physical copy of the game)
The emulator used is Dolphin version 5.0-18019. The console was Gamecube, game used is Sonic Mega Collection
Just wanted to make sure the rules on those before I did any more runs. This run did not use a macro, and I will make sure future runs will not use a macro. :)
I've noticed that randomly whenever I try to run the game, the frame rate is locked at significantly lower, resulting in lower speeds. I have no clue why this is going on. Does anyone have a solution? Any tips would be helpful! :D
(This is the reason I had to delete my original file that was glitched with faster cutscene skips)
