EnglandThis is really cool, but it's a shame I have little to no time to learn the new Japanese route. I guess I could enter and just run old strats but I only ever did like 2 dupe runs about the time the PW strats were discovered, and haven't done a run in a real long time. Route has changed quite a bit from what I remember. I tried learning up to shakedown a while ago (before Japan happened) but after completing it once I didn't go back.
Spacebar as sprint because your pinky will get tired tapping LShift. You can still hold LShift when driving away to keep the door open (it will honk the horn).
Alternatively LiveSplit has an OBS plugin that I belive allows it to be captured even when it is behind the game on a single monitor. I haven't tried it though.
"7 assets" or as was suggested back when the Printworks 2 duping became a thing "no dupe" would be most sensible. "No dupe" means we can skip Cone Crazy still (can't imagine anyone would seriously run a category where that was required still) and still allows for the clothing glitch on Cherry Poppers (which no-one really used before the route changed massively.
Plus you still get to do SSA, and who doesn't want to do SSA.

I was wondering, what is the reasoning behind featuring certain games on the games list and forums, and hiding some behind "others"? Many of the games which get a dedicated link on the forum page have 0 posts in them, yet several that are hidden under "others" have reasonable discussions. Shouldn't the games which people want to interact with over this site get featured first?
I don't think there's anything wrong with it just being called Any% no dupe or nodupe%, rather than single segment. Saying the current Any% is segmented is disingenuous because you keep the timer running.
Yeah but if you set up the rampage glitch at PP you would have to wait the entire length of time it takes you to beat Copland as well for the glitch to work.
Adam are you suggesting running to BY from Copland? Hmm interesting. Fil I will see if I can catch any of your stream but I won't be home till 7pm BST :(
EDIT: Also has anyone tried tricking the phonecalls using replays? In the 3 minutes you waste has anyone tried taking phonecalls there and then using the replay later on to see if it will adjust the priority of the phonecalls so you can get the end of game Lance call without doing the other phonecalls? I doubt it works but is worth a punt maybe.
Really enjoying Hitbox, even had staff pop by to ask how my experience was. Probably as a result of the 150 viewers I got sent thanks to Adam!
Only downside is stream drops a lot. Don't think it's my internet, need to try another Hitbox server. It's probably when I start dropping frames it just drops the whole stream immediately, so I get these really short breaks (and viewers seem to need to refresh to get it back). Oh well! Will have good internet again in October.
If you get unlucky and a shotgun lady isn't stuck inside her friends then... It doesn't really matter tbh, do what you want cause the mission is basically an autoscroller :P
I think just ignoring all the women like that is pretty risky. They can walk around and gang up on you, one shotgun blast and you're dead. Much safer to take them out while you're waiting for the heli, and you don't lose time anyway.
Megadrive, you could get around that by using bit flags for each asset.
Also, Any% no dupes is sure to pick up, many people are rejecting the rampage glitch anyway and the run with no CC and the new CP strats is actually quite fun. I always liked the SSA RNG anyway.
m00n, while its true the glitch would have been easy to avoid, you can't deny that I doubt they ever would have considered it being a problem.
Also, if you ask a programmer to make something that checks if you have completed 6 assets, 90% of them will use a counter. If you use an array of bools you have to sum the values to check it anyway, at which point you might as well have used a counter.
In Australia, even the upload/download rates are upside down.
