Hi all, I'm here today bearing good and bad news.

First the bad: Slightly Mad Studios has officially pulled all Versions of PC1 and PC2 as well as their DLC on all digital storefronts in the last month, which came with a small predicament regarding the full game boards as the fastest times were achieved on a platform that the game can (officially) no longer be purchased on.

The good: After a little deliberation and some second opinions, I have split both of our full game boards into a next gen (PC/PS5/Xbox Series X) and a last gen (PS4/ Xbox One) sub-category. This will allow the game to still be run and times to be competed for across whatever platform you have handy without turning people away for one being faster (as it has done in the past), while simultaneously not disturbing the peace on past and present runs through loadless timers and other barriers of entry for potential runners.

All previous full game runs have been restored in this new system, and any and all IL laptimes will not be affected by this as there is currently no benefit to any platform in a single lap setting. I hope this serves well and allows more runs to be completed even given the games new state as abandonware.

Hi all, just an update about changes that have been made to the IL categories table.

The former categories of Indycar and Track Day have been condensed into the Open Wheel and Road Car categories respectively. While this does make the table appear smaller, both categories still exist as sub-categories and retain all previous records and runs prior to this change. There was one run of Vintage Indy, which has merged with the new sub-category with the modern car times, and is hidden as it is no longer a PB.

For any runs in future, Indycar and Vintage Indy laps will now be placed in the Open Wheel - Indycar Category, and Track Day will now be in Road & Track - Track Day.

While great care was taken in moving all times across, it is possible that some which exist may be hidden currently. If your run is hidden, make sure to message myself or another mod and we'll make it visible again.
