@GgamingREAL You should read it it's very important
also important to note that you can't close the punch card for like 5 frames after opening it so don't try to close it too fast.
@crazyteriyaki who the hell speedruns Roblox: The Mimic?
the time i got on my first neutral run (without any major mistakes) Is around 1:08
why did you guys feel the need to make a thread for this?
no you cannot speedrun
if you dare even boot up livesplit you will be greeted by death sentance !!
I'm pretty sure its allowed. According to the game rules as of right now you don't even need audio to submit a run so i'm pretty sure submitting it with music should be fine
oh i thought you actually couldn't guess the code because I tried it and it didnt work for some reason. guess they must have made a new patch or something :p but still i don't think it would be possible because the code would probably be stored server-side instead of client-side
such a tool does not and will not ever exist, the game only makes the correct code once you have all the books. This means if you got 4/5 necessary books in library you can't just guess the code (believe me ive tried). The code only works once you have all the books. And the game is rigged so that the 8th book is the last book you need for the code. I bet the creator did this so if anybody tried to speedrun nobody got an unfair advantage from having a 1/10 chance of guessing the lock correctly because it takes a while to get to room 50. And so you need all 8 books to proceed the game.
to get 1.001 you need to go to steam, find Undertale, click properties, Click Betas, you want to select "old_version_101 - old_version_101", re-download the game or something Boom you have 1.001. Also something you should do (because steam loading times are slow) is disconnect steam from Undertale. The way to do this is actually surprisingly simple. You want to go to Undertale's local files and copy all the files somewhere you will remember (like your desktop or something) then you want to open that folder you just moved from steam and then look for something thats named like steam_api.dll. You want to go delete that. Boom you have the most optimal version of 1.001 (windows)
I see the issue has already been fixed but in the future if this happens again Im pretty sure the way to resolve it is the following: Go to your run > click 3 dots > click edit run > find choose platform > change it to the platform you ran on > maybe make a note in the description like - Runner Note: Changed platform because it was wrong > click save
Mods may have to re-verify your run after you do this but at least it will be verified for the right platform 🙂
yes i think you are allowed to add cell to the save file
unpractical solution: delete every run under 1000th place
