There will be a very small delay on OBS's screen (Or whatever you use to stream) But non on your TV

You need to buy a splitter. Assuming you're using an original SNES with AV cables, you can use a 1 female to 2 male splitter. It can be hard to find but it looks like this: https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ebayimg.com%2F00%2Fs%2FMTYwMFgxNjAw%2Fz%2FHz4AAOSwONBZAwDs%2F%24_10.JPG%3Fset_id%3D8800005007&f=1&nofb=1

Top level runners will try to save certain framerules, but if you're just starting or not trying to get a really good time, you can just play your best most of the time

If you're wondering what emulators are allowed, they are all listed in the game rules. If you are asking if the SNES classic is allowed, then yes, it is.

Ok, thank you :) Only thing is that Japan wall outlets give 100v where US/Canada gives 120v, is there a chance that it would get fried?

CanadaBlahaj644 years ago

Does a JP N64 work with regular NTSC and US/Canadian wall outlets, or will I blow something up?

Jumping over small walls is a pretty common thing in MK64, but it's a pretty funny looking trick anyway. Not entirely sure how the clip on the last lap happend though.

Couldn't agree more. This is so inspirational! Thank you!

Same as anything else Long jump forward and then mid-jump hold back and mash a (or whatever your jump button is)

CanadaBlahaj644 years ago

But I guess in general they'd probably be considered an emulator

CanadaBlahaj644 years ago

They probably aren't allowed. all of the accepted emulators are listed in the rules, and Retron wouldn't be original hardware considering is isn't an actual NES console

MIPS can only spawn if you've collected a star from a level, the toad star doesn't count as a level and MIPS cannot spawn from that as you are still in the castle.

Just out of curiosity, what is the web emu called

CanadaBlahaj644 years ago

All of the accepted emulators are in the rules. "Emulator runs must be done on Project 64 1.6.x, Mupen64Plus or OpenEMU. (in particular, Project 64 1.7+ and 2.x are banned, check the resources page for a portable build of Project 64 1.6.1)" So, probably not

Perfect! Thank you. I have an expansion pack

CanadaBlahaj644 years ago

I don't have one, that's why I'm asking. If Usamune doesn't work on it, I'll get an Everdrive
