After weeks of trying to get an answer somewhere regarding the patch update on PS4 for Europeans I've had this response from Capcom, Not very hopeful but it is what it is. (FeelsBadman)

Hi There, to best answer your question I would say watch the runs by @Pessimism and count the steps and runs that he takes, However, it does vary on each category, with that said, most Runners like to push it to the brink of explosion. Like @MoeMoe_7 said, best to make a save and practice until you are comfortable with it. The general guide line is more less like this:
Very Easy: I've seen step counts of walk 2, run 8, and also walk 3 and run 10 (it varies depending on your previous steps i guess) Normal: 3 Steps, Run 5 Real Survival: Typically the rule of thumb is walk 3 and run 2
Good Luck
Still no Update here, I don't think us console runners are going to get it MonkaTOS
Hello friends and fellow runners.
I’ve seen the vod where @iSeeDeadKittens runs the game in traditional Chinese text. From a glance the text is definitely faster imo. Maybe this can be negated by adding a separate category and have the other catagories with japinese text in the rules. I feel that if Chinese text is accepted going forward all the hard work we or myself personally have put in would feel like a waste, although my console has not updated the game yet. But I’m happy with the outcome whatever it should be. Just adding my thoughts.
Hi @NixIssues
Just to add to what @Voxgizer Said, it all comes with practice. The key to the camera angles is to hold your stick in the direction you are facing/ going in, for example. Say you've just entered the the Black Tiger room, if you just keep holding right to go to the web the camera will change. However, if you keep holding it in regardless of the camera change Chris/Jill will still go in that direction unless you change the direction on the analogue stick. So the key is to keep the direction you are facing even if the camera changes since the game will still recognize your initial direction and stay the course so to speak. Hope this helps you.
Hi Kris_NagaXIV
Welcome aboard, and hope the runs treat you well. You can find The Rules in each category that have white buttons that you can click. These Include Filter, View Rules, Submit Run. If you click on View Rules, it should open a pop up with all the information that you require. Hope this helps. Happy Running
I had the game Crash when opening the double doors after you have to position the spinning roosters, re-installed the game, never had it again.
Hey Guys,
I've just recently joined the speedrun.com community and thought i would say hi! I've seen just about every youtube video from Carci, Bawk, Wusscake, and Daddy Pess (Good Looks!) and think It's time i start getting involved in the community and attempting a few runs of my own. But more importantly, having fun!
I'm in the process of setting up my own Twitch account and will follow streams when i get the chance.
Looking forward to interacting with you guys in the near future!
Bashy.
