Confirmation from me

I'm not sure about 3DS VC, but Wii VC runs at 59.94 fps which loses about 9 seconds to console which runs at 60.09 fps. I would assume that 3DS VC would be very similar, but don't quote me on that. More info can be found on the wiki: https://wiki.supermetroid.run/Timing

virtual console is fine but it loses around 9-12 seconds over one hour against console due to framerate

you can x-ray climb as long as you stay in bounds
