No, but I haven't heard anyone talk about things being moved or stolen. I left most of my things at mass housing, even left my Laptop at the venue unattended for hours and it was still there when I returned.
Food Trucks? PogChamp
Dark Boshy has several advantages that make everyone agree that it is more fun.
-Hitting bosses is quite a bit easier, while still keeping it challenging -Gradius Skip is insanely difficult with small bullets, 100% runs usually switch to Ryu to make it very easy instead -The World 11 skips only work with Dark Boshy's (and Nyan Cat's...) bullet position/size
Didn't get a Keyboard either....just too expensive and hard to come by at this point.
I packed my Guitar, xbox360, GH3, World Tour, Smash Hits, Van Halen and Warriors of Rock. Left the ones behind where most good songs exported to WoR.
I'll bring my guitar too, so we should be good on that. Didn't manage to get a Drumset however, but that shouldn't be too bad considering it's probably the least played instrument.
Still looking to quickly grabbing a Keyboard for RB3 though.
That you can take the bus from the train station for free upon arriving in Växjö?
At least that's what I am getting.
Some Boshy notes I wrote down: http://pastebin.com/TBVJvV3u
Will probably still add/change stuff, link should remain the same.
If you have any questions I'm available on the ESA Discord most of the time.
The more the better I guess. Even if we end up with multiple 360's, switching between them shouldn't be too hard.
That'd be cool.
I'll be buying a bigger suitcase before ESA, so I might be able to bring my guitar as well. That would leave us with needing Mics (should never be a problem lol), the RB3 Keyboard and Drums.
The problem are the drums. They are pretty hard to come by and actually super expensive (200+$ easily with shipping). Now that probably won't stop me from buying one, as there seems to be quite the interest in this. Keyboards are cheaper and maybe someone can bring theirs, as its the smallest instrument (or organize a Midi compatible keyboard? I'd bring my Pro Adapter)
@Fingers: Rock Band 1/2/3 and Lego Rock Band Guitar Hero 3, World Tour, Metallica, Van Halen, 5, Smash Hits, Warriors of Rock (I think that's all Band focused GH's and 3?)
My DLC library isn't that big (400ish songs in RB? Like 100-200 in GH?), but as I said, I wouldn't mind people downloading stuff they'd like to play, as long as they don't rob my bank account to heavily.
Another thing to consider (at least for myself) is getting a Guitar Hero drumset for Double Bass or a Rock Band Pro drumset for more awesome (unless there is a way to get double bass to work with RB drumkits?). Some of the DLC I have for Rock Band is double bass versions of charts from the Network.
Hello,
as the thread title says, I am interested in setting up a GH/RB section during this year's ESA. If there won't be enough people bringing instruments (I won't be able to), I'll most likely order some to the venue to use specifically for this and future ESAs (they can be stored along with the other ESA equipment apparently).
I will bring my 360 with a bunch of DLC for both series, as well as most of the games, so instruments have to be from the 360 as well (unless someone else brings a different console).
But first I want to know if there is general interest for this, and ask if there is anyone willing and able to bring their instruments.
Does this have any major effect if you land in Kastrup and board a train towards Växjö? You still go through the ID-check at Kastrup right away?
Maybe you guys should fuck off instead of trolling people on this forum.
I arrive at around 18:00 on the 23rd. Would be cool not having to run early on in the marathon so I can get some sleep/practice in.
For a minor update: I am still playing Boshy every now and then, and I am still capable of getting around 35 minute runs consistently.
I'll be landing at around 1:45 pm on the 23rd, taking the 3:06 pm train.
My main priority has been solely on Boshy lately, with me getting the first ever sub 32 time 2 weeks ago. I'd like to lower the estimate to 35 minutes.
I will eventually go back to Find my Destiny and derusting shouldn't be too difficult, just haven't found the motivation to do it yet.
Gastly sometimes causes weird lag, but not to the extent you describe it.
Have you tried giving a higher process priority to Boshy in the Task Manager?
Other than that, no idea really.
Not sure on this, you'll have to wait for Edenal to respond I guess.
But I am pretty sure the T-Shirt is a free extra thing you get for signing up.
As to what it looks like? No idea, but it would be cool to have your nickname on it. Makes it easier to figure out who's who when you're unfamiliar with a lot of people.
No idea what to tell you instead of "practice".
Maybe look a bit more into general damage optimization (jump quadshot Mario at the start, optimal Megaman damage when he falls?) might help you.
