New update coming very soon, completely new tools and such. How will the speedrun community be affected by this?

I present my new custom doomspire game to make the whole process of retiming and doing runs much easier.

List of everything in it:

--Run auto-timer, server sided 100% accurate. -- You can chat ":attempts" without the quotes to see your total attempts done. --You can press R on your keyboard to restart the game. --There is a GUI that shows the time of your last completed run.

Stuff being added in the future:

--Built in splits that show you how fast you destroy each tower (maybe) (it may not be necessary though considering the fact that 3 tower strat will just make all segments the same)

Respond here or message me on discord at B1GEY3DPYTH0N#5645 if you have any questions or problems.

I think all runs should be separated into glitchless and glitches since this new toolorder glitch is out of the blue.

I have a request for a solo% category where you do it in a private server and time starts when the first explosion goes off while you are at your own base

Alright, so this is a bit late but whatever. Basically, a couple of months ago, I made a tas of a strategy that I thought could be used to greatly improve the softlock world record. But after a talk with Blazit, we both deemed it not RTA possible, until yesterday. I told Niftski about this strategy, and he managed to get world record with it in a couple of tries. I can see someone getting a 20.3xx with this strategy, as I can think of faster optimizations. Anyway, here is the UNOPTIMIZED RTA tas that I made a couple of months ago.

I would like to request Doomspire Brickbattle for a game but how do I do it? The main category would just be to win solo as fast as possible.

I edited the 1-1 as fire lua timer so that it works with pal. I was sick of retiming runs that were not PBs but too close to a PB to the point where I couldn't tell, so I made this.

https://goo.gl/fm7Nz2 It's a direct download btw.

For some reason speedrun.com won't let me edit his run. I retimed it to barely being 25 seconds. So can someone edit it for me and change it to 25 seconds?

The setup is just do a full jump the frame you hit the ground. It sounds hard but it isn't too tricky.

In Sneaky's 100% run he mentions a jump mechanic that you can abuse to get launched into the air. Does anyone have a video of what he is talking about?

I just finished my any% TAS of slb. The time was 5:01.8 but there are definitely more timesaves such as 8-2 optimal bbg and frames to save in 8-4. But overall i'm happy with this time but I might go back to the TAS and try to optimize is more.

I am an active speedrunner who is pretty good at retiming runs. I can make Human Theory Tases as well as discover strategy's and tricks to help make runs easier and or faster. What I could do to help is verify runs, and answer people's questions that they have in the forum. I can also detect cheating although I am not the best at it. I am friends with other moderators such as KingOf_JonnyBoy and Epicness. If I find any issues such as cheating in a run or I think the run is sketchy in general then I will inform other mods about the issue and we will solve the problem making sure we all agree on what to do. I would be glad to verify and accept runs. Alright that's the end of the application. This probably wont get accepted but if it does than I will gladly help to make this community a better place. Sincerely, Python

I wanted to know of a way to start off as small fire mario in 1-1. I was thinking that there is a game genie code to do it but I couldn't find one. Any other ideas on how to start 1-1 with small fire?? If you have a game genie code to do it or any other way to do it than please respond. Thank You!

I have found an easier way to get an estimate on what time you got for those with the emulators that start your game on 0-1. I made this thread because in my opinion its annoying to start the game and start the timer at the same time unless you have a foot pedal or something like that. Whenever I used too try to start the timer as I start the game I would always slow down in the beginning because my finger is starting the timer rather than holding down the B button. So what I did to make it easier to start the timer with being able to hold your B button Or Right depending on what hand you use to start the timer before the game starts is, Set the timers time to -2.65. You can do this with livesplit and probably a bunch of other timers. That's the only step you have to really do. To start the timer when the game starts, keep resetting your game and each time hit start on your controller and your start timer button at the same time. And when you finally hit the start timer button and the start button on your controller and start on world 1-1 the timer will count down from -2.65 to 0.00 and by the time it hits 0.00 your game starts. The timer will start pretty much exactly as the game starts so your time is more accurate when the run is done. I hope you found this helpfull!!!

This message is to LoopieXP who accepted my run. Yes it was the same footage except I cut it differently so it would show the title screen.
