How do you guys make your NG+ save files, I'm assuming utilizing cheat engine, but just curious. Also, is there a inventory setup and description of what to use when?

I think Mergy has either crafted a modified .iso, downloaded one from somewhere else, or just accidentally stumbled across a modded game, personally. If we all remember the bigjawz incident where m13 made a modded iso and did a meme run that was like 2 hours or something with all easy modes and such and there was TECHNICALLY no way to disprove that run, but obviously the mastermind behind that was just trying to prove a point as to how easy it was to cheat, not try to actually get away with it, which is super freaking easy (obviously). Personally I believe that this 000 card is proof that Mergy has some sort of modified game disc, whether he did it himself or got it from someone else unknowingly is still to be decided in my mind, but I don't think it's the same game everyone else has been playing.

In response to your response to me, this is why I'd like an alternative on this website to host things, most notably "Theory tases" and segmented runs in general. Also, there is fun competition with "LOTADs" that I've engaged with within the Doom community several times, coming up with random ideas on how to do a particular run and then making a quick tas to showcase how it can be done et cetera. Which would work perfectly in a leaderboard scenario and would not work at all on your website, sure you can say "post in the forum" which is a makeshift fix but still.

Anyway the point of this thread wasn't really to talk about tasvideos policy, moreso to expand the possibilities of this website. I don't care if someone wants to go through the rigorous verification process of your site and then redirect a link here, all I want is links to be easily available here since it would make this objectively easier and better for everyone involved.

I just want to say: "LOTAD: Low Optimization Tool Assisted Demo. This is not a TAS. It's a good resource for RTA runners, but it's not a TAS. The fact that it is "low optimization" is the key here." and this is the reason I will not use tasvideos. Way too much emphasis on things being 100% optimized drains the fun of TASing for me entirely.

i would just say make 100% equal "get everything", rather than max the score, personally.

well whats impossible about those levels? couldnt 100% just exclude those things that cant be done? or is it just one of those "too hard to do in a rta" type thingies

ok, making PAL a separate category doesn't really make sense assuming its just the same game but at 50hz, since anyone who "doesn't have access" can just get access or play on emulator. That's how nearly all other game communities are.

Also, can we have a max score, or maybe a 100% category for full game? Not that I will run it any time soon, but ya know. Also, for max score, are the values the same for each level or would you have to memorize each level's max? Also, do snacks being picked up right after each other count toward the score increase or not?

Please add PS2 as a console to submit runs on, and also why is PAL a category? Is the run actually different or is it just slower refresh rate? Also, I propose removal of any times without video evidence, entirely. Not that I necessarily think that people are lying about their times, but it sets a very bad precedent, especially when this is only allowed for people who are moderators.
