you're running an old version of doom, the door there was added in a later iteration. Try getting the game from steam rather than using an old install disc or pirated copy :)
Everyone should just run 1.0 unless you're doing the DLC stuff tbh
I don't have any of my consoles set up at the moment since I just got back from AGDQ, and I've been sick for the past few days. I can try to test that out later in the week though.
didnt notice, fixed it!
I'll go ahead and verify it with the submitted time, but if you can just limit for the entirety of the runs in the future, I'd prefer to keep in game time the standard for IL runs.
Have only played PS2 so wasn't aware lol. Either way, looking forward to the runs!
Well, Idk. Personally I don't like cluttering things up if I don't need to, and I only had/have the PS2 version, but I could add the others. Although, personally, I'd just like to keep them all together and just run whatever the fastest one ends up being.
hey bud, i never got anything from you, but ive been lookin to route this game with others for a while now. I only have the PS2 version though.
either way, post stuff and let me see asap!
i dont quite understand why you guys are still talking about this when I already posted the objectively best possible option.
The subject should change from this to how to define rng manipulation.
Make Any%, then sub categories for "Legacy", "Card Duplication", and "RNG Manipulation" imo tbh
well you can make it a misc il if you wanted?I dont even see a reason to mess with ILs at all really
Wait a sec, why exactly did you duplicate the IL board into full game?
and i would completely support that.
I'm fine with pretty much everything you suggested TheMaster.
Also @Deagle, Speedrun.com should track all speedruns for a game. That's the point of the website.
So, less focus on what YOU want, then? This isn't your game. People are free to play how they like lol
It doesn't dilute anything. If someone wants to run the game, they can and will. Just because they have more options doesn't mean they are forced to spread their activity more thinly between them. They can just run what they want to.
Because theyve been done, and there's no real reason to remove them. Whats wrong with them being there? If theyve been done, theyve been done, I don't see why they should be removed. I also don't see why consistency is important. I also wouldnt be opposed to ILs in L4D2 either
hey I requested you to be mod on the site forum since I was getting tired of inactivity lol.
All I request is making 1.0 solo campaigns its own categoy, separate from co-op. Making co-op and solo subcategories would easily fix this.
As for ILs, I think they should remain the way they are, personally.
you know, you can always look at submissions later and unverify them. it just makes things easier, especially if you're the only mod and often inactive.
