Hi my name is znankonz and I thought of a new category. You have to destroy the cartridges of DKC2 GBA, DKL2 and DKC GBC as quickly as possible! There are two sub categories: Hammer% and Hands%. I have an idea for a new category! Very good idea!!! You have to play all stages with water, and then do the Funky minigames since they are also on the water.

Hi I started playing this game recently, but one thing turned me off. Why are the coins blue? They should be yellow. Will someone just give me a real answer?

It has come to my attention that there is a runner of this game who bullies his dad. He shall remain anonymous, but he looks like jesus. During stream, this anonymous person (let's call him Thomas from now on, to make it easier), was called by his father. Thomas then proceeded to tell his dad to F off and hung up 5 seconds later.

Another time on stream, Thomas said "I don't hate all dads, I just hate my dad". Also one time Thomas his dad was away for the weekend and called Thomas to let him know he was gonna be home soon. Thomas then said "the house burned down". His father stressed the entire way home, only to find out Thomas had been lying to him! What's even worse is that Thomas locked the house and left his father to sleep outside for the night.

I think this anonymous Thomas person should be nicer to his dad, what do you think?

Through thorough investigation and lengthy interrogations of all parties involved, I have found out that DNA423 bought his way into being a moderator for the speedrun.com page of Donkey Kong Country 3 for the Game Boy Advance.

I have my evidence here. I did not keep backups of this evidence but I am sure nothing can happen to this thread where I call out both moderators for being corrupt.

I hope the two moderators will do the right thing and ban each other. We cannot allow the speedrun.com pages to be ran by corrupt moderators, because if we cannot trust the moderators, then who can we trust?

Hi! I am interested in speedrunning this game since it reminds me of my childhood. I remember back in 1996 playing this on my CRT TV lol. Before I start running I want to know if sub 40 is possible. I saw the WR is only 49 minutes and I think that's too long for a speedrun so I hope sub 40 is possible so I can just get that. Also are there any difficult tricks? I'm allergic to difficult tricks so I sure hope there are none.

I've recently acquired some audio footage of Rareware's office during the production of this game. I've managed to listen to some valuable conversations between an anonymous employee (which I shall name SJ) and his boss regarding this game.

"Employee SJ, make sure you cannot clip through walls in water stages and Low-G labyrinth, because we want the players to play through the entire stage!" "Got it bro! Leave it to me"

"Employee SJ, make sure to edit the K. Rool scream in such a way that the player won't get mentally scarred and feel bad after he's being electrocuted." "Too easy bro"

"Employee SJ, make sure that Belcha can only eat beetles when they're thrown in his mouth" "No problem bro! That's not even a challenge"

"Employee SJ, make sure that you cannot start select out of a level until you've faded out of it at least once" "Yeah sure bro. I'll get it done!"

This is not easy for me to say but I cannot stay silent any more. This community is TOXIC! This needs to stop now or no one will want to run this game anymore!!!!!!!!!!!1111!!!!111!!1~1!1!1!!!!!!!1!!!!!!~!1111

In these forums I constantly get bullied with terms like "I would really prefer if you would be quiet", "you're a mod", "BANEMPTYSPUNOKOKAOS2020", "I will burn your ashes" and "ngl this is getting old lol". On top of that the WR holder screams at me all the time and it's making me really insecure and I am not afraid to admit I often cry myself to sleep.

The toxic people even come to my chat when I'm streaming this and they ask me if I need a license to be this bad and one even threatened to sneak up on me like ligma in the night which shocked me to my core!!!!!!!!

On top of that my favorite runner Joe_, who has been a really positive influence on this community, retired. Now I'm left with a bunch of toxic people who run this game and some who don't even run this game and THIS. NEEDS. TO. STOP! THESE FORUMS ARE TO BE USED TO DISCUSS STRATEGIES AND QUESTIONS ABOOT THIS GAME (I'm typing in caps for emptysis btw :) ) AND FOR NOTHING ELSE!!1!!!11111!!@!!11!!21@!!!1

Attention everyone. I want to propose we ban a trick from the run. It's called emptys PunOko Kaos, and the more you practice it the worse you get at the trick! That goes against the spirit of speedrunning.

Moderators! Please add this as a rule. It keeps me up at night and I even die * cry * die* right now thinking about emptys PunOko Kaos because it's so STUPID. Who even invented that STUPID trick?

I think we should rename this category to "Get Bear Coins and then beat W1 and W2, then open Krematoa, go to Krematoa, visit Boomer and beat the levels of Krematoa as well as K. Rool in Knautilus" because Aqua cannot be a percentage. I think the name I suggested will be much clearer.

It has come to my attention that a certain mod, and I won't name Emptysys's name, has been deleting topics against our will. This is clearly an abuse of power and I hope the Tonkotsu police will take this seriously and remove the person responsible for this from the mod team, because this is UNACCEPTABLE!

It has come to my attention that belcha can eat beetles through his chin. A duck told me this is clearly semi oob and I propose we ban this. Either we go full oob or no oob.
