So PS2 and Dreamcast have been sperated into their own categories as requested. And it makes alot of sense the verison are definitely different enough to make the nessessary change.

Also check out the 3 new Quick Racer categories these are shot and sweet and alot of fun. Be sure to check the rules settings and have fun with thsoe as i hope those categories will help this great games leaderbored grow. Ill soon add 1 or 2 more quick race categories as well. But not sure what tracks to seclect . Any suggestions let me know. Ive unlocked a few tracks and im going to unlocked a few more next time i play.

But no joke these shoter runs are very fun i did however remove some of the longer categories long super endurance these were a little to long and dawn out and i dont think anyone was going to run them anyway. Hope to see you all sumbitting your PBs. I will be .

To anyone who might care. I have made some major changes to this otherwise messy leaderboard. The most important is changing the timing structure to game time. Now you will combine the time of all your races for an overall total. No need to skip past your times after the race. Please show your time for each race moving forward. I do apologize but I had to reject Several runs as the runners did not Complete all the races in the tournaments. I understand that you can skip races and still have enough points to win. But this is about racing, and it's only logical to complete all the races in each of the tournaments. For me as difficult as it was to remove someone's runs that they gave effort to. It was necessary because if a tournament has three races, you need to complete three races so on and so forth.

I removed my runs for goal B and E because the shenmue and yakuza 0 verisons should here their own leaderbored. Iam at a huge disadvantage to anyone playing meme or saturn and its Bs and unfair. So im requesting spreate leaderboreds Thank you.

In all games on speedruns the main category showing 1st is always the most played category. As its the most relevant. I think this should be changed back as all stages is the least played category. Just my 2 cents

Please please please leave your in game times after each race so i can clearly see it for 1 or 2 seconds. Real time does not matter!!!!! There is no need to button mash after the race it over. This leaderbored has always been clocked by in game time for the ranking from 1st to last! So please do not feel the need to skip everything so fast. I want to be able to easiler check your in game times without having to pauses the screen over and over to be able to see you times after each race. I may even remove the real time because of this , real time in No category is what determines the fastest time. Being fast in the races is what matters. Thank you and please moving forward show your race times for 1 to 2 full seconds not 100th of second lol thaank you.

Hello im suggesting a new category called Rash mode. The goal is the fastest runner to knock off 20 other riders , including cops. Certain rules could be that you must qualify for the knock downs to count. As getting busted or wrecked would result in a reset, Or finishing forth or worse. Since the idea in the game is to qualify ,fighting is also a big part of the game. And seeing as you won't get twenty knock downs In 1, 2 or probably 3 races, hence why the runner must qualify. As an example let's say someone has completed and qualified three races and has eighteen knockdowns soon as they reach twenty on the fourth race the clock stops. So the time of your races would be unnecessary . So for timing you would be using real time ,from pressing start at the title screen for your 1st race to your twentieth knock down. Any tracks can be selcted 1st. Doesnt have to Alaska, But after you complete your 1st race to save time you would most likely just select the next track to save time so I'm saying if you wanted to play Vermont 1st you could but then you would certainly button mash right after that race and the game would select Alaska immediately. You could still select any track you want, But you would obviously lose time from that point. So the starting point would be the moment you press start to the twentieth knock down.

Seeing as this is the most popular and active genesis game on the site. With 7 mods iam very shocked that ive been waiting over a week and my 2 runs havent been approved when 4 of the 7 mods have been active on the site in that time. I understand it can take up to 3 weeks. But my point is ,id expect alot better from the most active genesis game with 7 bloody mods. I run many games and the normal wait time is 24 hours to 5 days max! What im saying is, it discourages me from running this game more and improving my very back of the pack 1st submissions. Really going on 8 days and seeing that 4 of the mods have been online since then is just lazy. If you dont to do the work of being a mod dont be one. Iam a mod of several games and i make the time to check the runs in 1 to 4 days every time. Dont you want this games leaderboard to grow ? Dont you want this site to grow and become more popular? Well it starts with good mods. Food for thought

So it has come to my realization after several runs of testing and comparing multiple runners times that original mode's time structure should be based on the individual times for the 7 races to create an overall time. Not only will this allow a person to use multiple cars the way the game intends you to play. It also eliminates severe RNG that impairs otherwise great runs. As an example you can run a stage faster than someone else yet be slower overall because your opponent took longer to finish race. This is completely unnecessary and very unfair as you the runner shouldnt have to deal with this. Leaving it the way it is creates so much luck to determine the over all time instead of what should be pure skill. A simple fix is to change the rules to tally up The Times of all 7 races for grand total time. Here are 4 over all times through their 7 stages of 4 different runners Alphanerd 7:28"90 QR Jfred99 7:29"05 QR Btrim 7:33"80 SB Master System Marceau 7:51"55

Timing the runs this way is just completely more sensible and logical and allows a runner to maken skill whats required to get a fast time opposed to an extreme amount of luck with the RNG.

Also I'd like to request 2 categories for original mode one where the runner has to select only 1 car and use just that car for all 7 races. In another original mode category where the runner can use any car it wants throughout the 7 races as you unlocked them from beating rival cars and each race. As using different cars will definitely result in the fastest overall time in original mode.

Also this makes running orginal mode wayyyy more fun.
