Yeah, ofc. And yeah, that would be an issue- maybe I'll talk to klimb about adding both versions but idk if they'll go for it- and btw, cudos on the map, it is one of the best maps I've played in a long time

Okay I'll try and port recorder to map then- is using v1.0 okay? Both versions are great but v1.0 is so much better for speedrunning purposes because of mega rail skip making the run really fast

No. it's not ever worth it unless you're doing a skipless run. it's too inconsistent to actually save time. Same for chimney, rail, and box.

n00bie, that's not what it would be. it would be the map is 2x bigger. (due to how the physics work, that will make certain jumps significantly easier than just 50% size.)

so, we need to change 100%. Because I did mega mountain skip RTA. So we need to update the rules, and sadly invalidate Klimbrio1's run. Last time a rule change was added, the 100% run was removed so sorry Klimbrio.

no. you don't complete the slide skip segment (Press T. SS is slide skip.) you benefit because in no skips, that could provide some additional speed if preformed correctly.

A clip demonstrating Phantom Jump is at the end, so please watch that before deciding.

I asked Klimbrio1 whether "Phantom Jump" (Sadly, I don't know who created that name.) is a skip or not. He said it should be a community consensus. So, here we are! Should Phantom Jump be considered a skip, (Therefore outlawing it's use in no skips,) and if so, should it also be required in 100%? The case for it being a skip is that it does in fact skip part of slide, and bears similarities to Box Skip. Personally, I believe that since it touches slide, it does not skip any part of the game. But, tell us what you think, and we'll decide from there!
