Hello ! I'm curious on whether or not the emulator I am using for this game is allowed for speedrunning. It is the "Phoenix Project" emulator, and I'm also wondering if it should be ran under certain settings.

Hello ! I'm interested in speedrunning the game, but not any of the consoles versions nor the Steam one, but the 1996 windows 95/XP port of it called "Super Bubsy". I would like to know how speedrunning it would work, should it be a new category, considered as a separate game or something ?
