I've had this kind of thing happen before, but it was hard to replicate/explain. I've also been stuck underneath the map, allowing you to see things like the sea monster haha. Unfortunately in that situation, you had to reset to progress as you were trapped in a small room. That happened most often I believe transition from 1-1 to 1-2 IIRC.

Also we are able to get that slingshot glitch basically every time, and it teleports us after. But we haven't found a way to use it yet.

It sends you to a seemingly random place each time.
