hello everyone. I would like to submit runs but I dont know a good way to time them. I understand that the moderators will retime them anyway but I wont know if my time is faster than the last without timing it myself. So I was wondering how you guys go about timing your runs. Thank you. :)

Hello! As for myself, the timing goes as follow:

• Time starts on a first frame of character's movement
• Time ends on a first frame of character's entering the goal / finish point

(If you upload your runs on youtube) you can always check (or confirm) your run time using yt-frame-timer: https://mattbraddock.com/yt-frame-timer/

also If you're on android, a good on-screen timer to track your progress is "Floating Speedrun Timer" on the google playstore
