Seriously. If you get good early RNG, you can skip so many fight rooms with the added events, blacksmiths & Co. I just had an 11:13 (one second off PB) with this and I feel like it has great potential

I think its also good to run doppelganger on days when he is copying the sorcerer. I just got a 9:39:02 on that. The extra soul heart every floor adds up if you have the perk which gives you extra damage per soul heart

Sorcerer doppelganger is clearly the ultimate form for the last two patches. It's a shame you have to wait for the right day to run it - I feel like the way doppelganger functions should be reworked (and maybe be in a separate category in the long run?).

If Doppelganger doesn't change in anyway in the future, we might have to put him in a seperate category, as he is literally just a stronger version of the existing characters. But game is still in early access and a lot of changes are being made, so lets wait and see first probably.

But for non doppelganger classes, Wanderer definitely has some potential if you hit the RNG right, and the new Gunslinger is surprisingly strong
