Any% Run optimized

Note : if you have encounters just reload last save with Quick Load key

-Create a 80 Strenght Fighter (you need 20 Dex and some Charisma/Wisdom/Intelligence), chaotic good, Elf (you must get a Chaotic Good party too). Get max in search. I created a video to show how to use the glitch in Resources.

-Edit : For an unknown reason I deal too much damages, so I went with 55 (54 works too) strength

-Start the game with this character only.

-Spamming "1" gets you to Homlet. you can buffer "1"s and "m" to get to the map from the beginning.

-Press any key to skip the cinematics
-Use "M" or "," (depends if you got a Azerty or Qwerty keyboard)
-Go to South Hommlet.

-Skip the dialogue with Elmo with this 1 1 3 1 in NumPad.

-Enter the tavern, talk to the Blue capped guy and dialogue with 1 1 1 1 3

-Now we are going to use an other broken bug. When you click on the map just press R to start sleeping (put 1 hour to avoid encounters) and you will be teleported at the point you want. Go in Silent Move.

-Rush forward, and ignore the ennemies then enter the fortress (not the tower on the left)
-Go to the other room (forward behind a door) and use Search to discover a secret way (stairs) and go on it.

Note for search : WR bd_baby_wolf goes out of the fortress by the tower on the left and then goes in again to have the stairs. Maybe Search isn't the thing to do.

-Rush and ignore the ennemies and go to the Lareth's office, use a simple attack on him, then dialogue with him with 2 4 1 1 2 1. When you're at the temple, kill him. And go back in Silent Move mode.

-Go into the tower, go to the room, and Search to get an other secret way, go to the right, change zone, then take the door on the right, move with rest glitch take the death's orb in the chest, skip the cinematic, go in Silent move mode.

-Go back to the outside of the tower, use your map to reset your position (clicking on the zone you already are), and go down, skip the cinematic, then reset again your position.

Note : WR bd_baby_wolf uses the ladder on left.

-Go into the temple, go to the throne, go into the other zone. talk to the boss, press 1-1-3 .

General Tips for speedrunning

-You can use the NumPad numbers to answer in dialogues.


-You can use Space to skip your turn.


-The most categories now or to come will need you to get an invisible ring, you can get it from Furnok (that you'll kill) and use the One Level Sorcerer's spell : "Identify", after that you'll be able to use it when equipped.


-To discover early the Temple you can spare Lareth and telling him to guide you to the temple, but if you don't kill him after that he will betray you.


-Else to discover the temple you can ask to Otis the Blacksmith of Nulb. Watch out not killing too many people or he'll automatically start a fight. It would be a softlock in speedrunning I think.


-Using Quick Saves and Loads may break the IA sometime, but it's allowed if you got the same thing I had in my KillTheBoss% run, you got lucky :p.


-You can shave off a couple of seconds by hot-keying the identify spell and full attack

-Rest warp found by bd_baby_wolf:
This bug allows you to move almost instantly from point to point

1. Click somewhere on the ground and press "r" to rest
2. press ok

Notes:
Sometimes doesn't work, need to repeat. This happens if you press "ok" while your character is turning in place and not actually moving.
The character will actually move through the map and may trigger encounters.
Best to rest for 1 hour to minimize chance of random encounters.
If you click on a door and the character can reach it, then the character will activate the door as soon as rest ends.

STR: 160 max before crashing due to carry weight int overflow (no its not win10 issue
INT: 12 just enough for 4 necessary skills, so we dont spend too much time in level-up screen
CHA: 18 gives +4 to UMD

Start a CG party, choose your char.
After pressing "begin adventure" wait for a second then press "1" 10-15 times then press "m" this will bring up the map as soon as the game loads.
Travel to north Homlet
Walk south and immediately west with the road to speak with Black Jay (he's the guy with a green cloak and a bow and bunch of animals)
1-1-1-1-4-4
Fast travel back to North Homlet and enter the church.
Speak with cleric 1-2-2 and kill him
level up
Go upstairs and loot the bookcase. We need only one scroll, raise dead (left column, 4th row)
Now cast enlarge person on your char and kill the main priest. you should be able to do it in two hits.
His speed is 20 due to armor, so if you hit him with "single attack" and run away he will run to you but will not have time to attack.
Dismiss enlarge person/wait 1h otherwise the game may crash when you pick up the ring (you now have 162 strength)
Get the ring of invisibility from him and identify both the ring and the scroll now.
Levelup
Get out and use the ring while running
Travel to Mothouse and run strait to the drow
Kill him, then resurrect him with the scroll.
If he doesn't start the dialog press "c" to go to combat mode then press space to end your turn
At the beginning of his turn he will check his health (1hp) and surrender
2-4-1-1-2-1
This will teleport you to the temple.
Walk behind the drow (to get out of sight of the guard) and kill him
Get to the skull
Levelup
After exiting to the secret ladder you came down with, continue running to the left.
There is another ladder up, take it, it will get you to the surface.
Now fast travel toruined tower and exit to temple map.

Get inside, to the boss.
Just before you reach her cast expeditious retreat and ghoul's tough
Talk to her 1-1-3-1-1-1-3 (we do it with style)
Before the combat starts run to her.
When the combat starts you will go first. Get to her point blank and "discharge touch attack"
If successful (unless you roll 1) she will be paralysed and you will automatically start next turn.
Cope de grace the hell outta her.

Some side notes:
You can start a game on a character and play until you get the items/spells you need and bind your hot-keys. To bind hot-keys hold left control and press the key you want to bind, when the wheel menu will appear choose the item you want and it will be bound to the selected key.
Then start a new game with the same char and all your bindings will remain as they were, so you don't have to do it mid-game.

For NMG Run
-Create a random sorcerer with identify spell. neutral.
-Start the game with this character only.
-Talk to the Archdruid and spam 1 on NumPad to dialogue fast.
-Press any key to skip the cinematics
-Use "M" or "," (depends if you got a Azerty or Qwerty keyboard)
-Go to South Hommlet.
-Recruit Elmo with 1 2 2 1 1 1.
-Enter the tavern, talk to the Blue capped guy and dialogue with 1 1 1 1 4

-Talk to the guy with the sword in the back of the tavern, and spam 1 to recruit him and go outside.
-Use Elmo to kill him.
-Take his ring, identify it and equip it on your rogue.
-Go to the fortress (by world map), use the invisible ring.
-Rush forward, and ignore the ennemies then enter the fortress (not the tower on the left)
-Go the the other room (forward behind a door) and use Search to discover a secret way (stairs) and go on it.
-Rush through the ennemies and go to Lareth's office, take the book in the dresser, use it, then close the dialogue with 1 3 and exit to the secret entrance of the fortress.
-Go to Nulb by your world map. Go down and find the Blacksmith, use your invisibility ring to be visible and talk to him, recruit him with the dialogue with 1 1 1 1 1 1 1.
-Skip the dialogue between Otis and Elmo spamming 1 eight times.
-Skip the cinematic and go in the temple.
-Go on left until find stairs use your invisible ring, it will be usefull.
-You're on Level 1 of the temple, go forward until find a crossroads, then go to the right and full forward, but before the cul-de-sac go up and then to the left. Follow the way until find other stairs.
-You're on Level 2 of the temple, go to the right, and go down-right (don't take doors), until find white tiles.
-Use search to discover a secret way and go to the stairs.
-You're on Level 3 of the Temple. Go down and when you find a way to go to the left, go and use search to find a secret way after moving the manhole cover, go in.
-Take the door on the right, use search to discover a fake wall, take the death's orb in the chest, skip the cinematic, re-re-use the invisible ring and use your second character to go back.
-Go back to Level 2 of the Temple.
-Go up right (you'll find ogres but ignore them)
-You'll find two doors, take the one on the left, you're back in Level 3 of the Temple.
-Go on the left, always, until you've made a sort of V in your path.
-After that, you'll find a way down right, go and in the dark room on the left use serach near of the wall to find a secret place to your main hero to kill the boss.
-Recruit him spaming 1 seven times.
-Go back to Level 2, of the Temple, then Level 1 then Level 0, NEVER GO OUTSIDE.
-Go to the throne of Level 0 and enter the strange way, go down left and there, you should save. With your main hero, (using invisibility) go behind the old woman (behind the curtains and even the wall to be never attacked during the fight, play ultra safe with this.
-Place the Prince in the nearest blue circle of the boss, on the down left I'd say, (you'll be able to use quick load if you're not well placed) and place Ottis and Elmo, one on the left and one on the right, some meters away from the circle. I'd say, one a bit down of the Prince would be kinda nice.
-Start the fight. Here you'll have to save more than once and the game may crash sometime. 

Here are the things I watched, the fight is quite RNG so I can't help you better than giving you tips:
-Quick save before EVERY turn of the Prince. 
-He must in his round touch his two attacks and make enough damages.
-If he gets a debuff in strenght, reload.
-If Zuggtmoy invokes the blue flying thing, reload, it will make the game crash.
-If Zuggtmoy invokes the big frog thing, reload, he'll probably outdamage the Prince or doing crap.
-When Zuggtmoy is dead, skip every turn until ending the game (probably all pnjs will die but we're not here to save them lmao).

TempleEnding% Actual run

NMG and MG runs get one major difference but they are close.
If I don't precise "the second character" consider, you're talking with your rogue.

NMG : Create 2 characters, a sorcerer with identify spell, and a Rogue with 18 in Charisma and Dexterity and max in Intimidate/Negociate/Diplomacy/ all the Charisma things and max in lockpicking.
MG : Create 2 characters, a sorcerer with identify spell, and a rogue with a high number in Charisma with the glitch and max skills in Intimidate/Negociate/Diplomacy/ all the Charisma things and max in lockpicking. Get 18 in Dex too.

-Start the game with these characters only.
-Talk to the Archdruid and spam 1 on NumPad to dialogue fast.

-Go to South Hommlet.

-Go to Lareth's office, take the book in the dresser, use it, then close the dialogue with 1 3 and exit with your other character.
-Go to Nulb by your world map. Go down and find the Blacksmith with your Rogue while your Sorcerer go to down left in front of the Tavern, use your invisibility ring to be visible and talk to him, recruit him with the dialogue with 1 1 1 1 1 1 1. Then use your second character to enter the tavern.
-Skip the dialogue between Otis and Elmo spamming 1 eight times. After that talk to the guy on the left on the other side of the table and use dialogues 1 1 2 2 1 then go outside to the temple.
-Skip the cinematic and go in the temple. In it, go up left to the chest up, near of the throne and after lockpick it, pick up 4 fire dress and go outside with your second character. Equip one dress on every member of the team. Reset your position in World map and go up right to the tower.
-Talk to the pnj in front of it and skip the dialogue with 1 2 2 1 1 1.
-Go out the room and follow the red corridor down to go to the Troll chief skip the dialogue with 1 2 1 2 1 1 1 1 1 1 1.
-Then using your second charater talk to Alrrem and skip the dialogue using : 2 1 1 1 1.
-Go in front of the cave.

-NMG : Skip days, to fight until having level 2 and save/load until having easy ennemies.

-Enter the cave and talk to the ogre chief (on full left) skip dialogues with 1 2 1 1.
-Go back to the temple and enter it.
-Go on left until find stairs use your invisible ring, it will be usefull.
-You're on Level 1 of the temple, go forward until find a crossroads, then go to the right and full forward, but before the cul-de-sac go up and then to the left. Follow the way until find other stairs.
-You're on Level 2 of the temple, go to the right, and go down-right (don't take doors), until find white tiles. -Use search to discover a secret way and go to the stairs.
-Take the first door on your left with Otis and Elmo, one in front and one behind the hill giant and attack him (to spare time, skip your own character's turn, they won't touch him. Also you should quick save before Otis' turn and make him touching at the minimum one out of his two attacks every rounds).
-After skipping the dialogue where he wants to surrend (using 2). Kill him.
-Go with your rogue down and when you find a way to go to the left, go and use search to find a secret way after moving the manhole cover, go in.
-Take the door on the right, use search to discover a fake wall, take the death's orb in the chest, skip the cinematic, re-re-use the invisible ring and use your second character to go back.
-Go back to Level 2 of the Temple.
-Go to the Green hallway, outside the scret way, go through the door and go up-right through an other door.
-Go forward and you'll be able to recognize the place, go talk to Alrrem.
-Skip the next dialogue with 2 1 1 2 1 1, talk to him again.
-Skip the next dialogue with 2 2 1 2 1 3 2 3 1 1 1 1.
And there you go.
