# The DAG - Huge Time-Saving Potential

In recent times a big discovery has changed how this speedrun is being viewed by fellow runner Njipep and myself. The following glitch has the potential to save possibly minutes, with a large spectrum of usefulness.

## DAG

(= Double Action Glitch)

The DAG is a very versatile and interesting glitch in the Inner World. Queuing up two actions, like picking up items, somehow plays the scripts for them at the same time. Queuing up an action means that while Robert is walking to an object you just interacted with, you interact with another object before he reached the first, causing both scripts to play.

1. Does the DAG work with *item pickups*? ---> **YES**
2. Does the DAG work with *object interaction*? ---> **YES**
3. Does the DAG work with *inspecting things*? ---> **YES**
4. Does the DAG work with *speech*? ---> **YES** (Only if speech is second and it's not two at once)
5. Does the DAG work with *room changes*? ---> **NO** (UNPROVEN)
6. Does the DAG work with *combining items*? ---> **YES** (however it deletes items, creates "dummy" items and softlocks the game depending on what you do)
7. Does the DAG work with *more than two things*?  ---> **NO** (UNPROVEN)

## TESCO

(= Temporary Script Coordinate Override)

TESCO is a potential explanation as to why the DAG is even possible. When you que up an action, it sets the Script Coordinates (for where Robert has to go to) to a specific number. However, the script doesn't actually check whether or not Robert has reached the specific coordinates, meaning you can potentially swap them out and or misplace them (PROVEN).

For some reason, after misplacing the coordinates, the script will play immediately when you que up the action. Skipping it by mashing M1 ends the script, because it counts as walking.

Fortunately, not mashing M1 actually makes the script happen, but once it ends Robert automatically walks to the coordinates.
