I just need some help with Chamber 12 on the glitchless run. I know I need to be airstrafing to get the extra boost onto the highest platform, but I just can't seem to do it right... Does anyone have any tips?

From what I understand you need to airstrafe in the jump into the pit while slowly turning left. You need to enter the top half of your portal so shoot it fairly late. I've only done it 3 or 4 times so more details might be helpful.
An update has been released for SST that adds the command sst_portal_resetisg. This command removes Item Save Glitch and is to be used in place of restarting the game. This is a temporary solution while a more robust and legitimate one is developed.
