[section=Shot Types]

  • Basic is the shot type you start out with. You can use it infinitely, but it's the weakest of them all. It deals 1-2 damage.
  • Rapid shot is obtained from specific enemies and bosses. It's like a machine gun, so it can't be powered up from tapping to the beat.
  • Spread is obtained from specific enemies and bosses. It's the most powerful shot type in the game when fired at point blank range. It deals 3-4 damage per spread bullet.
  • Fire is obtained from specific enemies and bosses. It's the second most powerful shot type in the game. The downside is that it does not deal hitstun. It deals 1-2 damage per tick.
  • Ice is obtained from specific enemies. It leaves an ice trail when fired. If you walk along the trail, you get a slight speed boost. It deals 7-9 damage per hit.
  • Enhanced is obtained from specific enemies and bosses. This shot type is one of the most common in the game. It's a powered up version of the basic shot type. It deals 5-7 damage.

[section=Tapping To The Beat] If you tap to the beat of the song, your shot types are powered up. Hitboxes are increased drastically, and damage is increased slightly. Most shot types also inflict hitstun when powered up.

[section=Special] The special can be used to inflict a lot of damage on bosses if it's used at point blank range. This is used for most boss strats.

[section=Shining] Shining a boss's bullets can be used to inflict a lot of damage. To use this, you have to be directly in front of a boss when they're firing bullets. Shining can also be used to obtain specific shot types from enemies or bosses.
