SUPERHOT VR has been released, and it's a very different game from the regular SUPERHOT. As this is the case, it will be getting its own Speedrun.com page for runs of it (thoguh I cannot vouch for categories or the experience, as I do not own an Oculus Rift or Touch. I will submit the page to be created, and if you own the game and hardware and would like to moderate it, let me know in this thread.
I don't mind moderating it despite not being able to play it if necessary. I'm intrigued to see what it will look like when played speedily.
I've been talking to be people about it and messing around with speedrunning it. I also submitted the game a few days ago, since i hadn't seen this post. Oops.
I'd be happy to moderate it, and found another person who is. We've discussed the timing times a bit already, but still need to figure out the details.
I did this very not serious run to get things started: It's probably not going to be usable on the boards as i think we're going to have it setup differently, but that's what the game looks like.
Have found one glitch so far. Going to try not to split up into Any% and Any% Glitchless, since I don't wanna divide the community. With just the gun show loophole, it really shouldn't be too big of a deal anyways.
Would be happy to run the page for this game, but the more help and voices the better.
Hey, I've been made a moderator of the series, so if you'd like to start a page for SHVR, go ahead! Put it down as a member of the SUPERHOT series, and I won't even be a moderator of the game specifically (since I don't own it, and have no immediate plans to get a VR setup)
I know you said you current run might not be on the boards for the game, but it's probably best to just use it to make a page, then delete the run after the game already exists and you can do a more regulated run.
Okay cool, I redid the submission for SUPERHOT VR as a part of the SUPERHOT series. I still have my original submission pending that is not under the series. Should I cancel that?
@Bean probably? If you got accepted and it /wasn't/ part of the series, you'd have to apply for a series change (I think?)

Out of town until Monday, but once I'm back I'll crank out a run no matter how mediocre it is.
I'll also write the basic rules for the run, and make a guide for that one known glitch.
I assume it's okay if I add the person who I was talking to as a moderator?
