Super Probotector: Alien Rebels, or Contra III: The Alien Wars in North America, or Contra Spirits (魂斗羅スピリッツ?) in Japan, is a type run and gun action video game developed and published by KonaminoSuper Nintendo in 1992. The objective is to progress through the six levels, in which many impressive bosses of the era must be defeated. Action is everywhere and there is no downtime during progression. You have to finish the game on the hardest mode to have access to a complete ending, otherwise the game simply proposes to restart the game with a higher difficulty mode (the player then keeps the number of lives they had at the end of the previous one. paper). Also, levels 2 and 5 are exclusively in top view (the others are in classic side view), and the character must rotate to move (using L or R buttons to turn left or right). Rotation effects are mostly used at these times, and can confuse novice players, especially two players, when the screen is split (an option in the main menu however allows you to choose split screen or not during these stages).
